  • Port Charlotte is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Charlotte County, Florida, United States. The population was 54,392 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Punta Gorda, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.

    Why did they put their belongings/furniture, etc. out in front yards?

      Because hurricane Ian had just went through months before

    Used to be a great community but sadly alligent air ruined it just as badly as the hurricanes did.

      @Mike-zh7to you right it so improve on given us a awesome chill fishing spot like it once was. Smdh. You obviously wasn't born and raised in this area. It ruined the awesome environment and kept same pointless job markets that we already have. Guess these big corporations did not get the memo of more younger and middle age people are here then retirees. Lol I'm all about the ecosystem for least animals are smarter then human beings for they know how to actually love this planet!
