Hi Rory, it does seem that its well worth the upgrade, use of lounges, catering on board, extra comfort, so much more to enjoy on your journey. yet another great and really interesting video, many thanks Rory..
As always Rory another great video! You explain everything so well and for a young guy you come across really well and have a very warm personality! Let's hope your channel grows and crows!! Love Craig x
That's a pretty good price for the upgrade for a short journey, especially considering that on a longer journey such as to Newcastle, you'd probably get much the same as you got (save for a couple of extra drinks)
Not sure Peterborough would want to be described as in the East Midlands, I've always thought of it as East Anglia. Will you be doing a GWR comparison? Paddington-Swindon?
Perhaps you should compare it it Lumo if they do have First Class. Or does Lumo not have First Class. Mind you those Class 91 Mk4 Intercity 225 stocks are soon to be replaced by the Class 897 Civity in few years time.
Unfortunately on Sundays most LNER trains serve the deli menu only. Plus it shows you the very minimum level of food you will get on LNER if travelling with them!
May I make a constructive comment? I LOVE your videos, but like most North Americans, a number of terms you used are NOT part of North American English. Your international vidwers would appreciate defining terns please ❤

I appreciate that!
Amazing video once again, thanks for doing the hard work for us!
Thank you!!!
Hi Rory. Yes. I think it was worth the upgrade considering what "extras" you got. Nice video again.
Thank you, I think LNER must definitely have the some of the best upgrade fares!

I think LNER definitely have some of the best upgrades in the evening when leaving Kings Cross!

Hopefully in the near future!

Nope, Lumo is all-standard!
Also, minor correction - IC225s use MK4 coaches, not MK3s
Thanks.
Why only the deli menu?

@@RorysTravels was it better pre covid? If so what happened? It seems as if avanti was fine. Did all LNER trains have chefs pre covid?

Thank you for your suggestion, I’ll take it into account next time!
