  • This is a 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170! It is a vehicle that is owned by Wendell Whittington, who purchased this through us here at Thomson Motor Center.
    It took a while to get the parts from the Demon Concierge Service, with the cage and carbon fiber surround being made by Salvaggio Custom Design in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. This is a one-off surround with the custom Demon 170 design, and the cage painted in the same Demon 170 Demonic Red. It is such a masterpiece in person, and I do have to say the owner of Salvaggio is absolutely amazing to deal with. He handled all of my questions with care and helped out in this process.
    I did have Mr. Whittington here on the dealership grounds, and he was the one who started it up for me. I do want to ephanize, it was not cold in any way for the start up. It was not a cold start. It was up to temperature. This is a personally owned vehicle that the owner can do whatever they want in it, it was not operated by a salesperson in the video other than me driving it back down to the main dealership for storage until it got picked up to be safely hauled to his house.
    But if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!

    I love the triple nickel look with the satin black! And if the Whittingtons will let you, let’s get a video of both Demons together please. Thanks!

      I will talk to them and ask! Anything you would like to see more in detail about their Demon's? I'll make sure to include it for you!

      @@johnsonsridesJust a side by side comparison showing the differences between the two would be cool. Also if you could get some video of them driving it on the road that would be great!

      So if I can do the video, I know I won't be able to get any kind of driving shots. He does not want to put miles on either vehicle. But I can definitely show the differences between the two!

    Is the roll cage, carbon fiber insert, and the harnesses aftermarket or are they are all dodge direct connection parts?

    • @johnsonsrides
      @johnsonsrides  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is all Direct Connection parts through the Demon Concierge except for the harness, that was direct from Simpson. But he talked with the manufacturer of the cage and carbon fiber surround to have it painted for him. The Simpson Racing harness having the Demon 170 logo was actually a small run, plus he also got the parachute with the Demon 170 logo as well. He just decided to not have it installed as this moment.

      @@johnsonsrides Oh I see. That's awesome. So the harnesses and the parachute were made specially for the Demon 170 by Simpson and were not factory parts? Thanks

      @johnsonsrides  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Correct! I can't remember which one, but one of the parts from Simpson they only made 150 of them, according to my customer who got the parts.

      So I mean you're right on one aspect, it is a Challenger. But there's alot of differences between a '08 to a '23.

      @@johnsonsrides sure there’s a few differences like interior and lighting but other then that it’s aged chassis figure remained static. I had a 2016 charger hellcat which was pretty nice but have never been a challenger fan for this reason.
