@@johnsonsrides sure there’s a few differences like interior and lighting but other then that it’s aged chassis figure remained static. I had a 2016 charger hellcat which was pretty nice but have never been a challenger fan for this reason.

It is all Direct Connection parts through the Demon Concierge except for the harness, that was direct from Simpson. But he talked with the manufacturer of the cage and carbon fiber surround to have it painted for him. The Simpson Racing harness having the Demon 170 logo was actually a small run, plus he also got the parachute with the Demon 170 logo as well. He just decided to not have it installed as this moment.

Correct! I can't remember which one, but one of the parts from Simpson they only made 150 of them, according to my customer who got the parts.

So the point of the GT package is to have some TRX goodies, but with the 5.7L powertrain. It's been quite a while since Ram has had any other shifter in their 1500's other than the rotary dial. Since before the introduction of the TRX, customers have been wanting something different. Ram finally answered with the TRX, and has since passed down some goodies to the Laramie and the Rebel. Manufacturers have always had their newest and greatest in their top-trim levels. It has a trickle-down effect to the lower trims. With F1 Racing for example, the technology that the FIA has allowed and/or banned has helped advance your everyday run-of-the-mill vehicle, and most don't realise. When it has costed millions to D&R, manufacturers want to capitalize on that aspect and only offer it on the top trim, and ask a premium. It will take a few years and positive feedback to implement that tech in your mid to lower trims. So yes, the TRX has far superior capability, speed, and advancements compared to a Laramie, but the GT package is what is helping to improve the platform. But, a 5.7L will never compare to a 6.2L Supercharged V8, I will agree. BUT, it is not a copy, it is more of a entrance to the performance truck world that most everyday people can afford, vs a almost $100K beast.
