I have a 2012 SRT 8 Challenger and bought it used. It had the catch can and Magnaflows. Still has the cats and the sound is great. It destroyed the cam and MDS lifters(never heard the tick , i think due to the loud clicking from injectors). I mean it grooved the cam badly in one spot and you could see two others. Comp Cam stage 2 now with Hellcat lifters , so no more MDS. Tuner re-programmed trans for harder shifts and wow , what a difference. High Horse performance sent everything needed and great support. Love this car in Bright White with the black hood stripes and hashtags. I'm keeping it and have got in a little troble twice with the sheriff's dep. On time showing a Tesla what cool looks and sounds like. It will check your talent in sport mode and if you shut down traction con. you better be alert. Have fun y'all and keep drivin'.
Subbed! I have a 2021 scat with the 6 spd. Just an AWE cat back, custom tune from Johan and wider wheels/tires so far but looking hard at the tomahawk. I would love to hear your opinions on how she drives with the tomahawk cam. Do you feel like you lost any of that down low grunt? That's my biggest fear going with tomahawk. I've read that it pairs very nicely with a 6 spd vs the auto. Who did the tuning?
@@chetmanley610 owner is happy with the drivability. Its a bit different but not unbearable by any means. Update coming one of these days with tune and other mods! :)
@@mike_wellington_ I am planning on getting the interior done to sound proof and get the drone in order. It sounds so good though. But to be at 2k rpm range at 80 mph is horrible after an hour of a drive.
@@MrArnoldyeaAdd some resonators. I'm LTH and catless and I have 12 inch resonators no drone. From Amazon. I'm going to add 2 more for the rear also 2 quite it just a little more. We take family trips in my car 7 hr drive an it's quite cruising.
This is exactly what I want for my 2016 srt 392 bro I love the sound of your car !!! You just got a new follower!!!

@@mike_wellington_ awesome very interested to see how this all turns out
I have the same set up and the drone at 2k RPM is driving me nuts. I made the mistake in going catless and straight pipe.
@@MrArnoldyea definitely pick a mild to mid catback exhaust on it. Will still be loud with no cats. Thats the goal with this one.

bad ass
Let me buy it🤷🏽♂️
How is your coolant temperature when you do pulls?
@@MrArnoldyea so far zero complaints! Next year considering a lower temp thermostat.
How much to wheels
@@392Low hasn’t had the final touches on the tune here, we are hoping for 500 horsepower to the wheels once it hits the dyno.
Total cost?
@@davidsosnak2968 for everything all in, roughly $4500 depending on labor rate. But this one was $4500. Tune is part of that cost.
@@mike_wellington_god damn did you take it to the dealership
@@Freddy_Confetti not my car, and no. This price is in the middle. Some areas are more. By the time you do the tuning yeah $4500
@@mike_wellington_ Way reasonable! Is that cam, install, shifter, exhaust and tune????
@@r71cuda yes yes. That’s everything. :)
