Hey Lee, allow me to explain the damages to your car. The reason why that pink cord was disconnected from the Uconnect is because it’s an antenna/tracker, same with the rear view mirror. Thieves usually disconnect them to make sure it can’t be tracked. There’s also a third tracker on the rear right side under the headliner so make sure those are still plugged in. The reason for your passenger side being took down is because there’s a something called the star connector, which is used to bypass the security and add a key. There’s also another way through the security gateway module, which was why that was broken as well. They probably tried one way and it didn’t work so they tried the other way. And lastly, I’m sure you know why the driver window was broken. I hope I answered your questions.
Thieves stole our denali and they cut the wires for the rear view mirror to disable the on star. The truck had an aftermarket GPS tracker in it though so..
yea thats what i thought with the mirror there are cameras in everything lol all people have to do is put it in N and get behind it and push it with another car.
PLEASE don’t strip this one, there will be plenty more totaled/stolen challengers to get parts from, but having one as clean as this is BEYOND a rarity
I have that exact car (rally stripes instead of hood and minus barton shifter and 1/3 the miles). So much fun. ALOT of fun to drive. I agree...don't strip it....but probably already gonna
The reason you have keys and the wheels were loose: the insurance called the owner and gave them the chance to recover their stuff. They took the aftermarket wheels off and left the two keys.
I’ve had cars stolen before and never was given the option to go recover anything from it, let alone take parts off of it. Once insurance cuts the check, they want all of it to try and make as much back as possible.

For what it is worth, that is the sort of car you can sell on to someone planning to modify it, like to go racing or whatever. Instead of starting with 70 or 80k or car, they can get in at like 50k and be good to go. Your other choice is to build it back to perfection, and try to sell it on at 60-65k It really isn't worth keeping because it probably will just get stolen again. So keep it indoors, and work on moving it on before it goes through the cycle again.
From my understanding they cut the mirror wires cause most newer cars have sos tracking built into mirror area. They also tend to drop the headliner and cut wires to the rear antenna.
Hey for future reference "Vandalism" is pretty much the only damage code you will see on a Copart theft loss type. Vandalism is really a catch all term for any damage caused deliberately. Broken glass and busted steering column? Vandalism. Spray bombed and scrated up with a key? Vandalism. Cars been shot up? Vandalism. Vandalism cars are typical fine mechanically. The ones to avoid are "partial repair" codes
I saw a car review video about the keys. The red one activates more features and total horsepower available for the car while the black one limits certain features especially the horsepower.

Mannn u got such a super good deal I'm surprised most the time when they are stolen they rag um out this one is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
For what it is worth, that is the sort of car you can sell on to someone planning to modify it, like to go racing or whatever.
7:12 that thing sounds like it’s screaming for dear life 😂
Seats Good helps you go in Doughnuts
now add a turbo and enjoy
Sometimes gps is connected to the rear view Mirror u tear it off you hear words (gps signal lost)
I'm curious why you removed the door just to replace the glass? @14:17... Cause it weighs more than 1k Lbs. more than a Corvette.
I’m a auto glass technician and you don’t have to take it off I would of had that job done in 35 min all vacuum and everything
From my understanding they cut the mirror wires cause most newer cars have sos tracking built into mirror area. They also tend to drop the headliner and cut wires to the rear antenna.
There’s a tracker in the headliner where the rear view mirror is that’s why it’s cut
I almost spit up my beer when you said "I'll never need the black key, we'll just throw that away." LMAO
Real motivation can’t wait to buy myself a hellcat
I really love your channel you're a great guy I love the fact how you said and now it's time to reassemble the car and do more burnouts💙🔥🔥
Why not use a shop vac to get the glass out for good measure ?
Hey for future reference "Vandalism" is pretty much the only damage code you will see on a Copart theft loss type. Vandalism is really a catch all term for any damage caused deliberately.
Broken glass and busted steering column? Vandalism. Spray bombed and scrated up with a key? Vandalism. Cars been shot up? Vandalism.
Vandalism cars are typical fine mechanically. The ones to avoid are "partial repair" codes
I saw a car review video about the keys. The red one activates more features and total horsepower available for the car while the black one limits certain features especially the horsepower.
