@@sajiddawar000 bro pressing power button for long is the hard reset and it could’ve solve your changing problem and for me it does .. my laptop is charging but another solution is you open your laptop and then disconnect your battery wire it’s easy see some tutorial of it and then connect the wire and I think it could solve your charging problem… that’s the only solution came in my mind. i have a issue its not same problem like in your video but my issue its when i open a game or a app on laptop battery its unplgug and its plug again and idk how to fix that its annyoing

is there any possibility that these drivers may not reinstall? i had this problem last week and tried both methods in this video and restarted my computer although, there was too little battery for me to be able to see whether the drivers came back or not. and now with my new charger (which i figured out that my original problem was because of physical damage), my computer is not turning on. any tips?

I first uninstalled the two battery items and rebooted...nothing different...my plugged in battery wasn't charging and showed 1%. So I did the hard shutdown as you also showed and when it rebooted my battery showed 100% charged. THANK YOU SO MUCH...YOU SAVED THE DAY!!

Hi thank you for the video. So my Asus laptop is a bit old but my charger is new and i bought a new battery. Problem is that the battery charge only when the lap top is off. Soon as the battery need charging the charging comes on and off and the battery just end up draining totally. I ve tried your method but it s not working. What can i do ??

Does anyone know how to solve my problem so i have asus laptop and the charger was working yesterday but whenever i plug it in i have to put it in a specific angle but now its completely not charging and i think my charger has problem so do i replace charger or my battery
I have GL552VX and having the problem in which when my battery is intact and plugged in, it would just be like "1%, plugged in".
I waited for hours for it to charge yet the percentage didnt go up, i also tried soft reset and hard reset (where i updated, reinstalled drivers, and as well holding power button and powering it up.).
May i ask what might the actual problem be and what will i do for it?

My laptop's original battery is dead and wont hold anymore power but it still indicates its charging when plugged. It still turns on BUT when I tried to remove it from the charger it turns completely off.
I went to my local service shop and they tried to replace the battery with a compatible Asus fx504 (tuf gaming) battery but it wont charge. ALTHOUGH it is read by the laptop but wont charge unlike the original one that has a power holding issue. What to do?

It will not start until you remove the charging plug and restart your laptop then again plug the charger then it will start charging if not the restart your laptop with the plug in it will solve your problem as it solved my problem ..... Thank you Very much

I'm guessing previously, I solved this problem unknowingly by hard resetting the system after my games froze in the middle. I just didn't knew the importance of the hard reset. Thank you again. Keep helping everyone out.

So I was panicking for a while because all of a sudden my battery charge wasn't increasing at all even though it was plugged in. It had to update which I proceed to restart the laptop but no luck. However, it increased by 3% so far with your solution on hard reset. Hope it continues to increase!

I had my laptop on 0% battery, did the uninstalling of drivers then it went off. When I tried to do the reset, it switched on an off then it was no longer showing that the battery is receiving power on the side of the laptop. As I type this, the laptop is plugged however power is not reaching the laptop.

This doesn't work if there is a problem with the battery or a problem with the laptop though. I replaced my battery and it still doens't charge or turn on.

FYI - for some people out there with this problem. Be very careful following the suggested soft reset advice. I have an ASUS x540LA that shows "0% charging", and turns off if I unplug my charger. I deleted the battery modules as outlined and it immediately shut off my system. Afterward, my system wouldn't boot back up properly, likely because not enough power was being delivered to my CPU (login screen was flickering, icons were flasing in out and out). However, this was fixed by resetting, and as my computer was loading, pressing f2 repeatedly, bringing me to the BIOS and resetting my computer hardware to default. This fixed the issue that had arisen as a result of deleting these battery modules. They did NOT reinstall by default after resetting my laptop.
So, you may or may not experience this like I did, but be VERY careful in deleting battery controls from your computer. If you do and this happens, at least you can fix it.

Hi Starshot, your post is a year old, so I imagine you've resolved the problem, I'm posting this for others who may have encountered the same problem like I had - shut down after installing 1st driver (didn't have a chance to uninstall 2nd driver) flickering screen, won't reach login screen - I held down power button until is shut down completely, powered back up, had a black screen with spinning circle for much longer than usual, but no flicker (was hoping it was reinstalling that driver) finally got to login screen after about 5 minutes, booted up, 100% Battery! To date have had no more battery issue.
Will I lose all my data if I do second solution hard reset ?? I have very important data in it and there is no juce left in it to switch on it ??

my laptop battery was doing pretty good (running 6-7 hours on an average) until one fine day... laptop didn't turn up on battery at all, but it works normal with power adapter. In fact, upon being powered up it shows battery between 90 to 100% but the laptop immediately turn off on battery. I tried both the methods but unfortunately none worked for me... what should I do now? is the battery really dead? or is there any fault with adapter or software issue?

I have the ASUS UX582 but it did not work. Uninstalling the battery drivers show my battery at 100 %. Reinstalling shows 47 % for the battery but no charging and laptop switches off after removing the adapter.

Wait! How does the OS affect the battery when its switched off? OS plays a role after the boot loader so the driver reinstallation sounds not a good idea for this type of problem
