AC/DC Drummer Chris Slade Dave Gilmour and Jimmy Page called" come join the band

From the upcoming show ..Former AC/DC Manfred's Dave Gilmour THe Firm with Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers and more.
Here Chris describes the best day of his life as in the morning Dave Gilmour invites him to join the band so he heads off to the pub , where he has a few beers comes home the phone goes again "it's Jimmy Page here me and Paul Rodgers are putting a band together we want you to join we will wait no problem" after that call Chris and wife returned to the pub ......

Actually, that's not quite right about the phone call from Jimmy...I believe, the person who called him was Phil Carlo on Jimmy's behalf, and it was for an audition, which he passed, he did very well.

@@theclassicrockshowX he didn't in a way made it up...he most probably, got a call from Jimmy after the audition, but I believe it was in a pub close to NOMIS Rehearsal studios when he was told about what was all about...remember that was 40 years ago... undoubtably he's one hell of a drummer, I don't know Chris, never meet him, except that day when he auditioned, and I heard of him though Manny (Manfred Man)...in those audition were invited Bill Brufrod, a very young drummer Geoff Dunn and some others which i can not remember their names...
