    Yes he's obviously very strong. But now you've demonstrated even more that it's more about awareness and sensitivity. Thank you. Great video.

    I would prefer this technique over hitting, it has low intensity and is more subtle than hitting. If needed you can always scale up your aggression. Great show of technique!

    Great timing
    Excellent display I went on a 3 day systema course. About 5 years ago with this guy .getting punched by him was like being hit by a truck.
    It's so funny when you read the comments by MMA fan boys. . About systema and krav Maga .how they don't work or how they wouldn't last against a beginner bjj 😂😂😂.
    The ignorance is wonderful tells you a lot about these people. . Two systems taught to elite military forces .. used probably daily in operations we would never hear about do not work????
    But your combat sport is the only thing that does 😂😂😂.
    Anyway this guy's skills are awesome.

      Yep seen that first hand with the fight commentary channel here on YT... these guys and the crutch sniffing MMA droogs that think they're the shit really are prize tool ignoramus's of the worst kind. I don't even do Systema but I can recognise what's going on here... all I say is let them live their fantasy.... better for everyone else.

      Hmm first i thought that this guy might have some skills but after watching some videos where he does the magic like invisible attacks etc I have actually lost the faith in him. Even this looks quite fake. I can imagine that he's put me off balance in the right time but c'mon, the guy in the video is almost flying away :D.

      i just noticed that the youtube's martial art community has many ignorant toxic people
      like this and this will not work etc. and basically wasting their time arguing in the comment section.
      its just full of negative energy and its becoming annoying tbh.

      Janrel This is just common sense the hardest thing for a human to do is walk because you will allways be off balance on one leg simple geometry.

    Funny thing is that its all body mechanics and physics. I don't see anything that is not ordinary. Systema is smart fighting knowing what the guy will do before he does it.

    Someone made a comment "fake". Not fake. The same principle applies in dance. The follower is placed upon one foot and a gentle push comes from the core of the leader and the follower goes in the direction intended. Watch a very good Argentine dancer. He never moves his arms. He never muscles. He never looks at his partner. It is that simple.

  • @daddydog6963
    @daddydog6963 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This is neither fake or directly practical, in this demo there is some student cooperation involved but the instructor is demonstrating a principle and when catching a person off balance a push followed by more strikes will be more effective than striking a person when they are fully balanced. fighting is moving.

  • @MauofMiami
    @MauofMiami 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Two other commenters this is not fake disconnect Libra put in Practical use, this is something that is called redirecting the opponent they teach this in law enforcement academies but this is more refined than what they teach in different law enforcement academies it is nothing more than to redirect your opponent and try to get him off balance

    Some trick. Hell, that is self-evident. An even more easier principle to utilize than that, is, control the person's head, and you control their movement. Another is the tripod concept taught by Loren W. Christensen.

      Kind of likely if the person is kicking or probably using systema though because in systema you're supposed to be relaxed with your movements.

    Very true. It's for this very reason that Japanese martial arts of all types (aikido, karate, judo, sumo, fencing) teach gliding footwork where neither foot really leaves the ground. th-cam.com/video/DBVCNkueUsY/w-d-xo.html

    It would've been entertaining to see the student apply this (punching to the solar plexus) technique to the instructor. Think he would've had a heart attack. Basic rule, 2 feet have more balance than 1 foot. Not really rocket science, but if nothing more, a good refresher, I guess.

    I know Hapkido and I'm not even that advanced but I CANNOT BE PUSHED. It's just impossible. I relax my arms and grab my opponent and in a fraction of a second the force they used to push me will have sent them towards my biceps with me behind them and a possibility of several combos - all of which hurt really bad.
