I thought Little Mermaid 2 wasn't that bad. I thought it was interesting to see how Ariel has become a lot like her father. That you are like your parents is one of the scariest realizations anyone can have. That and realizing your parents were cooler than you could ever hope to be.

Yeah Belle's Magical World is MUCH worse than Enchanted Christmas. Though ultimately unnecessary, EC at least tells a full-length story, and has decent animation, nice songs, and a cool villain with solid motivation going for it. BMW has none of that.
I liked Little Mermaid II. Im still waiting for Eric to become a merman. I agree with Pocahontas II. Just having her move on and stay with the brother even when it turns out john is alive is too much. Hated every second.
Wendy constantly talking about Peter Pan, dressing her son in cosplay, and giving her kids toys about her favorite childhood subject... Isn't that every geeky millennial parent? Just replace Peter with Harry, Luke, Frodo, etc.

Return to Neverland was not a direct to video film. I saw it in theaters. I enjoyed the movie, although I would have had loved a sequel with the original characters from the first movie still as kids
That movie along with jungle book were originally made to direct to video but at the last minute someone at Disney was like “hey, what if we release them in theaters”
Return Of Jafar is not only pretty good, but the pilot movie for the moderately successful (three seasons) Aladdin animated series, which had its finale with the DTV movie Aladdin And The King Of Thieves.
You automatically lost me as soon as you put Lion King II on this list. I can’t trust anything you say after that. Simba’s Pride slaps, and I’m not even sorry.
Me too. It looked beautiful as far as the dvd sequels went, and Jane was treated a LOT better than Wendy by the natives of Neverland. Even Tink wasn't as mean spirited to her as she was with Wendy(although that was probably because they both mutually agreed that Jane needed to get TF out of Neverland and she saw she had no interest in Peter xD)
Same. NGL Peter Pan isn’t nearly such a brat and actually seems to be more playful and caring. He literally makes fun of Wendy in the original movie so much
I hated the lion guard, but at least it preserved canon by sending Kion in a long, long mission to search for the Tree of Life in a faraway land. He returned to Pride Rock in the series finale, after the "adult Kiara" portion of Lion King 2, and had to catch up on events he had missed like the fusion of the prides and Zira's death. On the other hand, The Lion King 2 has a total disregard for previous canon, totally retconning the first one as you pointed out.
there is a legit reason, why scar "suddenly has followers": in the first movie, simba was thought to have died alongside his father. then he shows up years later, and admits to killing his father. Then he changes his mind and forces scar to confess to murdering mufasa. then simba murders scar. from simbas, and the audiences perspective, this makes sense. but from the pov of the other lions it might look kinda sus...
Aw come on! "Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas" wasn't THAT bad! If fact, believe it or not, I like it better than the original (!!!). And as a villain, Forte blows Gaston out of the water! Also, "Cinderella 2", while not as good as "Cinderella 3" (not to mention "Cinderella 1"), isn't bad.
You have to realize that The Return Of Jafar was a precursor to Aladdin: The Series. It was made before The Series, but it took a few months longer to release on VHS as opposed to airing on television due to marketing & manufacturing. Return Of Jafar explains why Genie & Iago are present in the episodes of The Series.
