  • In today’s video, I am going to show you everything I have done to my 2005 Sion Xb to use it for mobile detailing. Let’s go over all the things that I have changed since the last time I showed you the vehicle and the new skid I built on the inside to hold everything I need.

    I've been in the business for almost 4 years (self taught through youtube) and have finally found someone who share SOLID information that is geared toward profitability, being content with what you have, and set apart from other detailers who only care what other detailers think. You're ABSOLUTEY KILLING IT and will go so far in life!
    The one thing that totally changed my personal and business life, which they work together and not should not be separate, was commitment. Wholehearted commitment.
    Colossians 3:23-24
    Whatever you do, work at it WITH ALL YOUR HEART, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

    All I see is a humble man focusing on practicality and getting started 💪✨ Good job with the set up champ! Everyone starts from somewhere and I feel like this CubeMobile will definitely work as a temporary solution for something greater! 🔥You will get your larger vehicle one day man! You got this! Keep working, stay on your lane, ignore all those with $5K+ set ups, and great things will come to you! 😎 Focus on you, stay strong, and you will become an outstanding detailer!
    Love and Hustle champ! 💖💪

    Love it.
    Honestly, it looks quite cool, I don't think a Ford Transit would attract more customers.
    So as is... you've maximized net income. Ford Transit's are more expensive depreciation wise.
    They're also often overloaded early in their life and the transmissions break around 200K. This happened to us twice when we bought used (4.5k rebuild). The previous owners hauled way too much stuff and sold right when they felt it slipping but we couldn't tell during the test drive.
    Just keep doing this imo. Small set-up is more scalable when you want to hire

    Nice set up bro,makes so much sense and saves money on gas,those big vans/pick up slowly drain your profits every time you fill up.🙌👌

    Amazing content and setup! I just started doing interior detailing (McHenry/Kane county area, so not too far from you) as a side gig and learning a lot about being mobile and staying organized. Since I mostly focus on interiors and do offer rinse-less handwash, I don't have to worry about carrying too much in my Explorer ST.
    Are you using an extractor for your interior jobs? That is one area I am fighting... It is such a big investment and also more to carry and resources to use (water + electricity). My customers have so far been happy with removing dirty spots and steam cleaning, but, being a detailer, you always want to push for more and maximize your time.
    As for the generator, I have the same thought. The amount of noise we already generate on a driveway is a lot lol. Newer construction homes are built so close together and I like starting my details really early, the last thing I want to do is piss off the neighbors or potential customers with a generating running for hours. When I am mobile, I just make sure to ask the customer if they have a garage (prefer to do it inside) and if not, is there a driveway with hookup for electric and water (if no water, I bring my own in jugs/pump sprayer).
    Can't wait for more content!

    Sounds like your tank needs a vent. You need to vent the tank when filling.

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is vented via that red hose on the top of the tank. It drops down to the outside of the vehicle. It's filled from the bottom. I have a T fitting for the pressure washer and fill line.

    • @jamiesdetailing

    You rocking it brother!! Wish you much success :) Where did you get the bucket with your name on it?

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks a ton! I actually just made them myself with a photo printer and designed some chemical guys esk logos in Canva. The buckets are the ones from chemical guys but I hate having their logos all over my stuff. I will probably get better vinyl stickers in the future these ones faded fast in the sun and from chemicals. I can make the design available on my website on the Resources page soon for you to download the template 👌🏽 will have to do a video when I get them uploaded.

    You thought about using a inverter

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I actually have but after looking at prices for 3000watt+ inverters it would probably just make sense to get a generator and not put more runtime hours on the Scion. But at the same time I just haven't needed power other than my clients so until that isn't sufficient anymore I will stick with plugging it in. Great question!!

    • @garydenoria9503
      @garydenoria9503 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I use a 3000 watt inverter with 3 100amp hour deep cycle batteries no noise no gas just recharge at the end of the day
