    Congrats on the New Work vehicle.
    I just started myself and that XB was my first option but didn’t have luck finding one near my area. I went with a 00 Sienna mini van as it was what I found at an affordable price.
    To be honest with all the equipment & Arsenal you have looks like you have been doing it for over 4 weeks 😅
    Props & best of luck to you on the journey.

      I know I went a little crazy with the gear😅 ( I have been detailing since I was 15 and went to school and got a degree in automotive but most of the stuff in the Xb is new 🤓🤣 but I just started my business in mid August 2022 so I am super new and not trying to hide the fact I am new at professional level detailing and the detailing businesses)

    I have the same car but it's an 04 no difference but the year haha. I have the same idea for it. The gas prices these days this car is perfect. A 30 gallon water tank, 2000 watt generator, shop vac, small electric pressure washer, hose reel, towels/rag and chemicals fit well in that box haha.

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing ปีที่แล้ว

      I have actually checked out P&S. Great products but the ROI is way better with SP. SP products tend to be more concentrated and a little lower price. Not many other companies can compete with SP on price. SP also white labels alot of other products for other brands so you might already be using them and not even know it.

    sir, get a 2008 honda odessy or grand caravan. Use drawers and a detail cart. NO BINS as it will waste time to go through, get plastic bins at walmart or large drawer milwaukee

    • @jamiesdetailing

      Honda Odyssey is a great option. I opted for something smaller than a van just for the space saving in my driveway and garage at night. I also think this looks a little cooler than a minivan and more my style. The price was also really good on this old guy. If I get another it will probably be a cargo van of some sort but for now I am having fun with this little club car and have zero buyers remorse over the purchase.

    • @yasin_april17
      @yasin_april17 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jamiesdetailing with any purchase make sure gas compsumtion is not alot as it may be a cause from poor maintaince. I learned that the hard way and plus overly excited buying a v6 ford escape... i thought it was a 4 cylinder. I am still driving it just for kicks cuz its powerful but i am also looking into ford transit connect but gotta make more money lol.

    Tire applicator $2.50 for 2, so thats $1.25 per applicator. If you wash 20 cars a week thats $25.00 spent per week on just the applicator. Multiply that by 52 weeks per year and you have just spent $1,300 dollars on tire dressing applicators. Not a good ROI! Just a reminder that small dollar items add up, bud. The XB was a good choice, I've always thought they'd make a great little starter mobile vehicle. Best of luck on you new endevour!

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank for the advice. I take my consumables into account when pricing my packages and such. So I have it all accounted for ahead of time. In my opinion tire applicatiors are consumable items. I don't like using them from car to car.

      This is what I use at my house! Not quite enough room in this vehicle for my compressor. I do plan on rebuilding the sled so hopefully I can fit a few more things on it with version 2. Definitely want to add reels, a generator, a small water tank and possibly air if I can get everything to fit.
