  • As a professional detailer one thing I am always asked is what is a safe and easy way to wash my vehicle at home or by myself. Today I am going to show you my favorite wash method the "Modified Rinseless Wash". This is a super safe way to wash your vehicle at home with minimal tools and equipment.
    Note: One thing I forgot to mention is if you do not have a pressure washer you can easily presoak your vehicle with Dirt Buster and Muscle Magic Magic in a trigger sprayer or pump sprayer.

    This style is unique and efficient. There is no need to (1) foam before contact wash via rinseless method, and (2) final rinse.
    Huge time saver, I do have Dirt Buster on hand and I will try spiking that with Truck and Trailer Cleaner (SP has no information on it, but it may be former Road Warrior).
    Thank you for passing on your knowledge, Jamie!

    Putting the Tech Choice on your wheels before they dry is such good advice. My wheels always get water spots by the time I'm done with the truck and this saves me all the time. Great video as always!

    Just found your channel the other day and been loving the content! Just wanted to thank you for the insight you have and for being as open as you are. I just got into using Superior Products and a similar wash method, plus I’m also a younger parent so feels like I can relate to you more than other detailers already and I’m only like 5 videos in lol. Thanks again for the great content man, we all appreciate it! 🙌🏻🧼

    I realized I used GreenStar instead of an actual exterior cleaner. I got some things mixed up. Used your link to buy the rinse less solution and will try the Dark Fury too!

    Jamie I love your videos. I’m thinking about starting a channel to help educate my customers on our products and processes. Also teach people who are trying to do this on a more professional level. Out detailing ways are almost similar, and chemicals too. I’d say your a smart guy lol

    I do the exact same but I use Bilt Hamber in my IK Foam 12 because it’s sugar based and really cheap cost basis 20:1. Rinse off then spray with rinse-less / clean the panel. I do the car in 4 sections , each side because Texas is super hot.

      If you refer to touchless v1 then you go to rich. They say not to go above 4% to ensure it beeing safe. And it’s a waste of product imo. 1:25 is the max dillution ratio you should follow 😊

      I have heard a lot of good things about Bilt Hammer. I will pick some up next time I’m over at Car Supplies Warehouse. Come summer time we have to wash vehicles like that as well it gets pretty hot and humid here during the later months.

    Hybrid wash! Great video brother. Do you think spraying dark fury on top of the presoak will still work as well as spraying it on the paint first?

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Definitely spray on paint first for maximum effect. I kinda did this as an after thought that day but with all the pollen and stuff in the air right now it definitely helped get that off. You are totally correct though 👊🏾

    Congrats on your new ride, did you do a decon and coating, if so, which coating brand of either Ceramic, Sealant, or Wax. When you finished with the Rinseless and Tec 582, it looked great. Something I observed when you did your initial foaming, why not wet the lower grime body parts & bug areas up front then hit it with Fury, then foam with Muscle Magic and Dirtbuster.. I didn't see the point of adding Fury after foaming, just not sure it gets a chance to do its thing once you foam. I understand the caution of adding to a dry panel, but if you wet it first like you did with the wheels, there should not be an issue.

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes full decon, quick prep polish and Superior Products Nano Ceramic Coating. I wanted to try it because you get 60ml for less than half the price of what other brands sell their 30ml bottle for.
      Coating has been on over a year and is still working great with no signs of degradation.
      And yes I totally was not going to use Dark Fury on the body but then decided to last minute in the video. It is definitely more effective if you spray it directly on the paint before foaming. I used to pre-rinse the vehicle first but have found it’s really not necessary and a waste of water. I let the chemicals do the work then do my first rinse

      @seabreezeof 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@jamiesdetailing Yea, it looked like the SUV had a coating on it when your did your rinse. I guess you could even add a little of Dark Fury in with the other two products you used.. Have a good day Jamie !!

    Did you ever use ph test strips to see what ph level you get in your foam cannon mixing the muscle with dirt blaster? Muscle is very alkaline at 14

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have not but I do know Muscle Magic is around 14Ph and that is exactly what I am looking for in an effective prewash. Instead of buying a “prewash soap” that typically isn’t powerful enough to really do what I want I find this method simple and effective. Similar to your typical APC Rinse in a sprayer just done in a foam canon with some extra soap for added dwell time and easy application.

    What do I do if I do not have akaline water, and I’m out in the sun? Also, scrubbing with my mitt after washing off the foam seems to still leave residue for me, any tips?

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey I’m guessing you mean DI water. I didn’t wash this vehicle using DI water but using rinseless wash at the end will leave polymer spots vs water spots. Polymer spots are easily wiped away with a damp rag. Just dip your microfiber in your rinseless wash ring it out touch up the areas that need it and dry right away with your detail spray and a fresh microfiber.
      Using the method showed in the video you do not need to wash during the foam stage. The foaming stage is a high alkaline pre-soak that is meant to be power washed off removing 70%-80% of the contaminants before your rinseless contact wash. If you are getting streaking during your contact wash, you may have too much rinseless solution in your mix.

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      One last tip if it is super hot in your area, you may need to wash the car in parts maybe start with the roof then the hood/front then each side then the rear. That way water wont sit on the paint for so long.

  • @hartlanddetailer5670
    @hartlanddetailer5670 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I have some questions, is this your maintenances wash? If so, Dark Furry & Muscle Magic are higher on the pH scale? It may be too much for weekly or bi-monthly washes. Why not just a rinseless? Have you watched Yvan LaCroix videos.

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is just one way to wash a vehicle. You should always use a method that works best for the level of dirt and contamination on the vehicle if you don’t need a pre-wash skip it and go straight into your rinseless wash and yes love Yvan’s Content among many others.

      Only when I need to. Otherwise I skip it. Really not necessary for most of the details I do. If I worked out of a shop I probably would always use it though. I fill up at my local gas station using their DI system. He only charges a few dollars for it!
