I would have been about 7 years old when my dad purchased this Promise Keepers cassette tape and he would play this sermon over and over in his truck as we drove to various places. One of the most foundational sermons of my childhood.

LA Riots were in 1992. Promise Keepers were big in 95/96. 3 years is hardly "after the LA Riots."
