I was at Raise the Standard and about 7 other Conferences up to 2000, when the movement began to get smaller. My fondest memory was Minneapolis in 2000, where I was singing worship songs with 66,000 men and I was crying because I knew I might no experience this again (on earth). In my life, Promise Keepers made a difference and I think the world of Coach McCartney (even though I am from Omaha and a lifelong Husker fan, lol).
very good, why did it not continue, i am from Ireland and we have nothing like this, i was always thinking wouldn't it be great to fill a stadium here with something similar
@@tc6070 Greetings to my Celtic Brother. I am of Irish family background and I play the Irish Fiddle ("Road to Lisdonvorna." is one of my favorites). Anyway, I know some of the people who founded it and from what I understand, there was never any plan to take Promise Keepers out of the United States. It was hoped that other countries might pick up on what was going on here, but it never developed. I would not mind going to Ireland. Maybe you and I can start one!
