Fun fact: Mustafar wasn't originally going to be a lava planet. However, the mad man John Williams began composing on set, causing everything to catch on fire. Because Lucas had a tight schedule, he simply continued filming, and added CGI and models to make the fire fit in.

@@haoheanchan1763 the first cut isn't bad because there is a break in the duel, Anakin and Obi Wan are split and unable to fight for a moment, and it cuts to the other group
There's the cut of him waking up which has one of the best lines in the movie as well as show how insanely evil Sidious is, and the cut itself isn't bad
The third one cuts over to Yoda and Sidious in the senate chamber's center piece with the French Horn going into overdrive, and that cut ends with Sidious doing a slash that cuts perfectly into Anakin grabbing Obi Wan's throat
The fourth cut has the transitions to Duel of the Fates and shows a full on force battle between Sidious and Yoda, ending with Yoda falling.
It then cuts back to Anakin and Obi Wan for the tightrope part and the cover with the music in full overdrive, and while it cuts to a boring scene it's a necessary cut because of the way the cover scene ends, they're in a grapple lock after the most iconic shot of the movie, that's the perfect time to cut

@@samh7805 Adding to that, it was impossible to save the sequel trilogy from TLJ AND the death of Carrie Fisher. Say what you will about the Rise of Skywalker, but that they managed to include Leia in such large capacity using only deleted scenes and the like from previous movies is genuinely impressive.
So considering the skills of whichever editor managed to achieve that, could you imagine how much better the sequels would have been if there was an actual plan? If JJ hadn't had to try and recover his love letter to the OT from Rian, or if Rian had the freedom to explore his ideas in full rather than remove our preconceptions of the previous movies in one episode? Fucking damn it Disney.

That boy is our last hope
It's insane to think that Anakin was just a slave who wanted to be freed, to a boy fearing for his mothers life and safety. Then his dreams became true and he became a Jedi, but then met a woman whom he loved and ended up fearing for her life and safety as well, to becoming what he swore to destory, and knowing what he became and was doing was wrong, but continued in his anger. Then he did what he knew was best, and saved his sons life, redeeming himself and destroying what he created. It's a huge character arc that was thrown in the trash because "the prequels sucked" which I don't agree with.
Anakin Skywalker only became free once he was brought back from the dark by his son. He was no longer a slave to Watto, the Hutts, the Jedi, the Republic, his love for Padme, the Empire, the Sith or to Sidious. He was finally his own man.
And then he died.

Fun fact: The Immolation Scene was inspired by the crucifixion of Jesus. The music is almost an exact copy of the crucifixion scene in _The Passion Of The Christ_ . In this universe, Anakin is the Chosen One who will bring balance to the force. Like when Jesus came, humanity stopped following the will of God. In Anakin’s universe, the Jedi became corrupt and stopped following the will of the Force. Like when humanity annointed Christ as the messiah, the Jedi annointed Anakin as the chosen one. But later on, they saw him as a threat because he was destined to be the most powerful Jedi of them all. In a way, they were both betrayed by their own and condemned to die. When you think about it, The Immolation Scene is Anakin’s crucifixion, the suffering he’d have to endure for the rest of his life in order to bring balance to the Force. It just speaks volumes to the greatness of John Williams. It’s why _Revenge Of The Sith_ is my favorite Star Wars episode.
FINALLY one with the cinematic version of the transition between "Anakin Vs. Obi" wan into Duel of the Fates. In the movie, the transition was a lot darker and fast paced than the Phantom Menace version of Duel of the Fates and none of the other soundtracks seem to get this.

This was the best Star Wars movie, best lightsaber fight, arguably one of the best and most impactful scenes in movie history. Obi wan vs anakin scenes hit me in my soul. Plus this fucking soundtrack playing. Everything was absolute perfection

I can see every single scene in my head with every beat. Absolutely great work from Williams, Lucas and everyone who made these films together.
Imagine thinking the Lightsaber battle in The Last Jedi was better than Anakin & Obiwan's Lightsaber battle from Revenge of the Sith?
I'm not trying to shit on TLJ, but I honestly don't know how anyone can watch those 2 lightsaber battles back to back & think the lightsaber battle in TLJ is the better of the two.
Anakin vs Obiwan from ROTS isn't just a better lightsaber battle than the one in TLJ, it's the best lightsaber battle in all of Star Wars. And if you really think about it, it really should be. I mean, it's Anakin Skywalker vs Obiwan Kenobi FFS.

I'm already preparing this song for Super Bowl 56 when Brady vs Bill have their Mustufar duel
3:06, 9:46 I really love how John Williams managed to make the music for Obi Wan & Anakin's lightsaber duel sound both epic and sad at the same time, to really capture the tragedy of why the two are fighting. And if you pay attention during the fight you can see Anakin is the one mostly going on the offense, taking whatever swipes at Obi Wan he can while the mining infrastructure melts around them for example. Meanwhile you can tell Obi Wan really doesn't want to kill Anakin and is desperately hoping he can somehow bring him back to the Light Side, but his lack of understanding of WHY Anakin fell and his failure to see just how hypocritical & authoritarian the Jedi Order had become during the Clone Wars, means he's doomed to fail. Obi Wan's line "I have failed you, Anakin" implying he KNOWS he screwed up somehow with training Anakin, but he doesn't know exactly how. And as we see in the Original Trilogy 19 years later, he hadn't learned his lesson and was repeating a lot of the same mistakes with Luke.
