I had my best ever view of Jupiter with the Morpheus. It's a pleasure to use. But, I have nothing else to compare it with.

I will do a comparison test of Morpheus next time that is clear. What telescope do you use it on? 🌹🪐🌌👀😇

@@TheAstronomer Celestron C9.25. It gives 168x mag and is still capable of resolving fine detail on Jupiter with a 2x Barlow. It's my only expensive eyepiece, the others being in the £20-£40 range.
I'm interested in a Masuyama 32mm, 82 degree 2'' eyepiece as my next upgrade.

SCT telescopes are very forgiving with many eyepiece abberations. It means you can use many eyepieces which are not expensive. I think in my experience the BST Starguiders are excellent eyepieces. I wish I had known this before spending a fortune on Televues and Pentax and all kinds of eyepieces. I have a vast collection. I think the best thing I have done to improve my seeing was to remove the star diagonals. It is a massive jump that right away saved me a big £5000 in a silly desire to get a Takahashi! Any telescope will achieve its best without a diagonal. At least useful and practical when objects are not at the zenith. Also SCT telescopes without diagonals will have a wider field of view.

@@TheAstronomer I wish I'd known that before buying a £270 2''/1.25'' twist lock diagonal from Celestron, in August. I imagine I would need some sort of lounger to get a pure view without straining my neck and back if I disregard the diagonal.
At the moment I'm trying to decide whether to save for a 3/4'' refractor or try a pair of Zeiss binoculars for low power, widefield work.

Always binoculars first! Then a cheap robust sturdy refractor like Skywatcher Evostar 90. I removed the star diagonal and got a Baader Q-Turret and was rocking and rolling! I have never seen Jupiter so clear and clean!

I believe the image from the Televue is far superior. Thank you very much!

So what's the conclusion? Is the Televue any better than the Baader visually??? I can't tell from your video. I'd like to buy some good eyepieces. Televue seems to be "the best", but the Morpheus ep's have screws on the top that you can potentially attach a camera to. I really like that feature. But if it has an inferior view, I don't wan tthem. Jason

Were those prices in dollars / pounds / Euros or something else (you didn't mention the currency) ????

For my scope f6 I like Morpheus more than Delos. Much larger field of view. Both have good eye relief and sharp to edge. If I have f4 or shorter then Delos is much better.

Yes, the over engineering in Televue makes economic sense in large Dobsonians with f/ less than 4. Otherwise a Starguider ED 12mm will be the better choice.
