I've loved this song since I first heard it, and it sounds great arranged for acoustic guitars. It's awe-inspiring that these legends have kept going, never compromised on their artistic vision. So many years of great music.

Just because 338,000 people think one thing, you think the same as they do? Why? How about this: When any artist writes a poem and creates a melody to express that poem as a song, where is the line that defines the pretentiousness of it from the unpretentiousness? Arn't songs an amplification of a human experience that requires a certain level of pretence to convey an emotion that no string of words can communicate? Is having an imagination a pretence?
Do all governments suck ? Yes they do . Despite that fact a government is created by the politicians who get more votes than the others... My point ? PEOPLE SUCK ! Who gives a fuck if many believe that Sonic Youth is a pretentious band ? An idea followed by many people is not always right. Sonic Youth is THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE ELECTRIC GUITAR SINCE...well i don't know since when but they rule (excuse me for bad english -i am greek)
Ghomeshi was such a phony. Now facing 4 criminal charges of sex assault from 3 different women, "sensitive" Jian minored in Women's Studies at York U in Toronto (by coincidence, Kim Gordon studied Art at York U. though earlier than when Jian was there). Ghomeshi also led listeners to believe his pithy editorials he read each morning & his lengthy guest intros (such as you hear here) were written by him when 98% of the time they were written by Q producers. I didn't even know till just now SY, one of my fave bands, ever appeared on Q. Nice, although Lee & Thurston as a duo is a rather diminutive configuration of "SY," don't you thinK?
