Everyone, Mike crossed off the shop stool! That can mean only one thing! HE FINISHED IT!!! OR will finish it on his Live this weekend! All joking aside, I really like the new opening sequence. It's all "professional and stuff" The builds were fantastic as well. Definitely a departure from turning.
Btw Mike, I failed to mention - great video, great editing & choice of music. I’m sure it was nice & helpful to you, to have someone shooting the video for you while all you had to do was concentrate the actual work itself! I’ve enjoyed your past videos & this one as well! Either way, great work, man!
I did have to do some of the filming myself, because I only had my buddy Mike one day a week. But when he was there it was awesome to just woodwork and trust that the camera work was taken care of.
I have done that....just haven't gotten into it as a matter of "habit" so most of the time I don't. Probably would if I found myself with leftover scratches from previous grits, but I just kinda don't seem to have that problem.
Inspiring. Although during the last 24 years I exclusively built electric guitars, I pretty much might enjoy designing and making a limited serie of jewel boxes too. Thanks for the idea!
Hey Mike! Happy New Year buddy 🎊🎆! It’s been a while! Nice to see a build video 👍. I need a way to get in touch with you. Can’t find your email address anywhere here on YT 🤷🏻♂️. It’s only been since mid 2020 I’ve been trying to order my gun metal & walnut pen 🖊️ 😂. If I was able to contact you as you asked, I’m still interested if you still have any or are making any. Lmk how to get in touch since emails don’t show up here on the Tube 🤦🏻♂️. Thanks man! Hope all is well with you & the family. I may not be part of your live shows due to work anymore but I DO watch them afterwards. 🤜 🤛 - Tony Lopez 🇺🇸
Email is woodenthingsandstuff@gmail.com We'll get you hooked up, my friend. Thanks for letting me know it's not in my video descriptions with all my other links and stuff....
Very Nice. Looks Professionally done. Nice intro and Camera work. That actor, that you hired to do the building needs to dress more professionally, and needs a shave. :D
Wow what camera work!
Right? Such wow!
Very well executed. Turned out great.
Thanks Brian!

Oh it's finished alright. Finished all the way to the bank. Or something.

Who was your camera man, such great technical skill, creativity, and knowledge of cinematic techniques were used.
Agreed. He was well worth the price.
It has been Many fortnights since I’ve tuned into a live stream, or watched a video. But the camera work on this latest video has me hooked, I’m Back!
You've been missed, my friend. Happy to see your name again. I'll tell my cameraman he brought you back to us!
