I believe it's actually pronounced 'Church Fenton...Fenton!....FENTON!...Oh Jesus christ...FENTON!!!'
I'd forgotten about that video 😂
GEOFF MARSHALL ALL THE STATIONS😂😂😂😂
Nick and Natt, both Remind me of a young version of Geoff Marshall & Vicky Pipe From All the Station's
^
Natt and Nick.... Nick and Natt both ways have a certain ring to them. Congratulations Natt on your job, and you young man. Back to Uni, you lucky chap.
Hopefully Nat will get south worst trains running correctly. Looking forward to lots of videos on the South Network may be even a trip to the IOW
Absolutely love the subtle Tom Scott reference at the start
A to Z on the Waterloo & City Line - Bank to Waterloo. Ps Congrats on the new job.
Congrats Natt! The dynamic you two have is so cute and wonderful and positive, I know you will both find success in whatever you do
In celebration of Natt's New job (Congrats! Woo! 🎉), I think some exploration of SWR is needed... an A-Z there would be Ascot to Yeovil Pen Mill... certainly not direct!
Or visit every station on the SWT network! I'm sure Natt will need to know them all! 😂
Church Fenton Station is pretty huge for the tiny village it serves.
In many ways, it's similar to Tring. Loads of platforms and trains whizzing through, but not much locally.
And many Congratulations on the SWR job, Natt!!!
I suspect it's only this way as it's so close to the junction. They probably would have just kept the platforms on the slow lines otherwise. Just one of those strange quirks that happen sometimes like with Tring as you said
Church Fenton used to get a two hourly service more recently that has been increased to, I think, half hourly with the new house building that is going on there or you may not have been too interested to visit again! Bonus fact: I have done the Aberdeen to Penzance train a few years ago and it ran perfectly on time! - my recommendation would be to do it on the longest day of the year (very Geoff Marshall!) and first class! Congratulations Natt on the job - think of that free train travel ‘fill in a box’ card and for family too!!!
Brilliant video Nick, York is somewhere I always enjoy visiting, especially with the National railway museum being there. A congrats again to Natt of course for getting the job with South Western Railway. :)
Congratulations Nat on getting your new job with SWR
Congratulations on the job Nat 😁
I'm sure I'll be thinking of Natt whenever I pass through Church Fenton station in the future. Well done getting that job with SWR
Church Fenton is a massive station. Well done to all.
I've been searching around on a few TOCs and I don't know if it's a coincidence but a lot of A-Zs can be done in one, simple train ride or with one quick connection.
I think a great video would be Nat and Nick doing Aberdeen to Penzance as I am sure they would have some interesting observations to make about the journey
At around £200 each one way, we would need some sort of fundraiser to do it 😂
Youll get there monetarily eventually if you keep making such excellent videos with such a positive and genuine vibe to them! I’m certain of it!
Congratulations on the new job at SWR Natt! :D
I mean it's partly because my girlfriend goes to Uni in York but I swear to god, York is honestly such a gorgeous station!! :) Also Congrats on the new job Nat!!!!
Nat , well done. I’ve recently Retired from SWR. I wish you well ( being familiar with the recruiting process lol) well done and good luck, have fun
Congrats Natt on getting that SWR job, didn't knew that it happened in that station that you kept on saying you're getting off at. Great video Nick and that area is really quite nice, do need to head back there myself.
You need to so this from Aberdare to York. The first and last alphabetically in the whole of the UK.
I use the Aberdeen to Penzance service to get to work in Edinburgh, I really need to do the whole journey!
Church Fenton looks amazing & i wouldnt mind trainspotting there one day in the future & York is a billiant station & is a lovely city which is a must visit brilliant vlog
Now we need a first to last alphabetically on the SWR network
Addlestone to Yeovil Pen Mill.
Congratulations natt
Great video Nick, and many congratulations on your new job Natt - guess you guys will be moving down South eventually ;) love the look of Church Fenton
Thank you for using my idea, which obviously is not my idea but I suggested it at least twice, so I could've written, thank you for using my suggestion 😊
Here is another one: travel between 2 places, which have the most amount of minimum connections as its shortest route
Loads of congrats to Natt! 🎉
Loving the banter in between as well. Descent video. 😁
Looks like you had fun. Again well done Natt on your new job.
It's great to see you guys at Accrington Station. Born and bread there. Another great video from you guys. Must admit train travel is a great way to travel
wow that mustve taken hours or days to plan! and Congrats Natt
See amazing
Accrinton was my local station before moving to Scotland, then Malta. Accrington has seena bit of a renaissance in recent years. The copy pit line is lovely.
Try that CrossCountry from Aberdeen to Penzance! :)
There’s a small airfield at Church Fenton that rather grandly calls itself Leeds East Airport. Congrats to Natt for getting a job in the rail industry. Hopefully Nick will get a similar call in a year’s time 👍
🎉🎉 Congrats!!! So the plans can go through!
Congrats Natt!🎂🎂🎂
Trying to think about A-Z for West Midlands Railway - I think it's Adderley Park to Wylde Green, which isn't much of a trip!
Still flinched 4:51 😂😂😂
Great video as usual Nick! You could to Merseyrail from Aigburth to West Kirby
If you ever do Greater Anglia again, Acle to Wymondham would be the closest you’d get. You’d get to change at Norwich.
Nice vlog Nick cool to see you do northern journey in alphabetical order. Church Fenton looks great never actually been there before!
great video both of you
Most enjoyable!.
You could of done a point to point, Church and Oswaldtwistle to Church Fenton ;)
TfW will be interesting, love to see you two in North Wales, some truly striking places to explore there.
I do like the idea of rhyming stations though (was considering it for when we launch our own channel soon) but if you want to do it, why not go for Leicester to Chester or Dartford to Hertford or Retford to Thetford, Grays to Hayes, Malton to Dalton or Gordon Hill to Jordanhill
Ii approve of this project. I am shortly to commence a similar project in London. Every Station in zones one to six , in Alphabetical order .
Why did i expect this video be a song?
We are 😊
Church genton looks great!
Nick puts his least favourite train in the thumbnail despite not riding any sprinters in the video. 😂 Nice video!
Fun fact: there are no railway stations in the UK beginning with Z
Aberdeen to Yoker is the 'A-Z' for ScotRail if you come north of the border.
5:04 If you still flinched at that with earplugs, imagine what a 745/755 tone would do to you
7:25 And Natt, hey, congratulations!
Southern will be nice and easy, Aldrington to Worthing! Maybe have a rule that you have to go via the Arun Valley line?
Your the best ever TH-cam station in the world
Next challenge, go from Abbey Wood to Ystrad Rhondda (first to last in GB)
Church Fenton is one of the few stations in the country that is served by class 155s. If you had waited another hour you could have got on one although granted there wouldn't have been much to do in an hour with the pub closed
I wonder if Geoff Marshall was watching your video and got the same idea. Probably not but still very interesting video.
Well done with the job 🎉🎉🎉 would love to see a vid like this on my local operator, Southern, if you choose to do it, Aldrington to Woodmansterne, The Southern site says it is about 2h08 changing at Brighton and London Victoria. Don't trust copilot - it suggested Bristol Temple Meads, Hertford North, Hornbeam Park and Hoylake were served by Southern
How about doing a journey from York to Scunthorpe via Doncaster (I'd recommend TPE to get to Scunthorpe as that is only 30 mins long of a journey every hour)
Do SEML for a vid. Also congrats to Natt!
I wonder if that CrossCountry was 221122 the one that Geoff Marshall & Vicki Pipe rode on.
do north to south on scotrail pls thurso to carlisle
I think I just heard FFFFFFUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKK in the 221 horn
My local TOC is GWR
You just barely missed my local station..
Another point to point idea: Church Fenton to Fenchurch Street or Church Stretton
Nick Badley do a randomly generated journey of Merseyside
TPE is Alnmouth to York so really easy to do but there is only one TPE service in the evening that runs directly southbound between the two stations, you'd have to take XC or LNER northbound or change TPEs at Newcastle.
I used Acklington station a couple of years ago while on holiday in Amble.
@@Clivestravelandtrains I believe that's been the least used station in Northumberland for a few years. There was a good Geoff Marshall video 4 years ago on it. I've been wondering how to visit as many Chathill flyer stations coming from Edinburgh in a day without staying overnight particularly Chathill which is really hard to do. Acklington does seem easy to get to in the morning though by changing at Alnmouth and has a decent bus service.
I think the word you were looking for was Lancastrian, but I may have mistaken that for Lancaster rather than Lancashire!
I thought this was on the Network Rail network, so it would have been from Abbey Wood to ...
Leyland Station is like this.
I like church Fenton it reminds me of going on holiday to Yorkshire as I usually change there for the Bridlington line
I swear I've seen you on tuition before
Tiktok*
@@Star_l0lzya proberly have I do have TikTok
My brother played cricket there by the air field and I correctly guessed it
SWR A to Z
Nick, how much did the tickets cost you?
A-Z on SWR 😅
It keeps coming back........... ha ha
Do you not have to change seats when the train reverses so you're still 'facing the engine'?
There must be a median station (alphabetically) between Accrington and York, or two if they serve an even number of stops. You could go via those :)
Scotrail is Aberdeen to Yoker....theres a great Lifl near yoker, thats about it 😂. Its on the Dalmuir line....pronounced Dal Mew R
New mersyside train stations announced mabiey do a video on those ( commented the same last video )
what are TPE doing on the Calder Valley
Diverting
Do you ever go train spotting
Why is the station not named Accrington Stanley?
The adjective for "of Lancashire" is LANCASTRIAN
My friends got kicked off a train in church Fenton and then hassled by a local naer do well . Fun story but defo gives Church Fenton a bad rep with us
will natt be driving trains or checking tickets on the trains?
Neither, I will be a train planner!
@@InkItOut thx for the quick reply and congratulations 🎉👏
Overall: Abbey Wood - Ystrad Rhondda
(Fun fact: If Abbey Wood burned down, TfW would have the alphabetically first *and* last stations in Great Britain! Not that I'm suggesting any illegal actions!)

Cool count...4. Congratulations Natt!!! On a small downside... the music chosen...was a little monotonous!
Southern: A-Z (Aldrington -> Upper Warlingham)
My money was in Ulleskelf.
Not a bad guess but I think Ulleskelf is only served by the bridlington and sheffield trains. Edit: Oh and the Leeds stopping services
Aber to Ystrad Rhondda TFW
For pointless journeys how about Bradford Interchange to Bradford On Avon? How about A to Z on TPE if they actually run some trains!
achrinton stanlay
do southeastern
🤓🤓
Do you know what natt is doing on swr. I’m sure she will be the nicest worker ever
Just an idea: Pointless journey Garforth to East Garforth not direct
What is Nat and Nick's relationship???????
