DC has since rectified the situation and Batman comics have credited Bob Kane and Bill Finger as co-creators since 2015, almost a decade ago. So blame DC Comics, not Bob Kane. Ditko deserves a lot of credit, but Stan still gave Spider-Man his heart. Ditko tried, since Spidey entered college, to push Peter into a more objectivist direction, which Stan knew would alienate fans who like Peter for being a relatable Everyman. It’s what really soured their creative relationship to the degree it was at the end. And we can’t forget that a lot of what made Spider-Man jump to the top of marvel over fantastic four was when John romita came on and the soap opera elements came into the forefront.

I mean yes bill made the attributes we all know about Batman today but bob came with the idea, so technically he’s the original creator and bill is the co-creator. By the way I didn’t like he took the whole credit because bill fleshed out the Batman.

I wouldn’t shed too many tears for Finger. He outright plagiarized the first Batman story “Case of the Chemical Syndicate” from the Shadow pulp story “Partners of Peril.” Just straight up copied it beat for beat.
Apparently, that first Batman story was only meant as a kind of concept art to be presented to the publisher. It was Bob Kane who then decided to publish the story anyways. You can hear about this at the Comic Tropes YT channel on Bob Kane.
