This fact was mentioned in their 2012 official autobiography. He was also inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, along with the other 5 original members.
I recommend watching this same song live in I think 2017 but could be off a little. I feel like the venue has a color in the name, haven't seen it in a while but super great performance
