Walt Disney *did* visit this place...while traveling to get ideas for Disneyland,he didn't think much of what the American amusement park had become (this was the early 50's),but he was impressed by Rock City, particularly Fairyland Caverns.

Say what you will, but, until I saw this video, I didn't realize Rock City was a real place! I have seen the barns with the signs, but thought it was just for nostalgia or whimsy. On a recent roadtrip up to NY (with my Wife), I made it a point to stop here on the way back. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and want to stop back when we have more time! Thank you Jacob for filming this.

hey CarpetBagger,,, hope ya got yourself a "fairy tale book" at the gift shop and brushed up on all of the ChildHood Tales,,, ya didn't seem to know much about them as ya went into the Mother Goose Cave,, ha ha ha,, i saw there were little signs telling ya about the stories, but ya failed to show any of them up-close,,, i just guessed them as i recalled those wonderful and horrifying stories of my youth,,,
the actual rock formations and cliffs are fantastic tho,,, need to plan a trip to ROCK CITY one of these days, and hope i don't get stuck inside the "Needle Eye" or the "FatMan Squeeze" ha ha ha,,,, THANKS for posting as always,,, and keep on traveling
