those turned out great! would definitely love to see more videos like this in the future. It's really helpful to see you tackle those more intimidating parts of a pattern like this.
Yes yes yes! More of these! I’ve been so inspired by your video of your wardrobe you made. That I’ve already made the Anna Allen Pomona pants, and a blouse, and two dresses. Thank you for your beautiful videos!
Dear Emily, I really enjoy all of your content. Your olive pants turned out beautifully. Can't wait to see all of your Spring sewing projects come to life. 😚
Nice to see you using a tracing wheel and marking transfer paper. I'm from the old school of sewing. I still mark using this method. It is not used so much anymore. Love the pants by the way. They look great! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Emily, Yes please!.... More of these types of videos! I have just purchased this pattern and my fabric arrived this morning. I'm an advanced beginner so this will definitely challenge me. I've gone for the zipper fly expansion pack..... fingers crossed that I can work it out. Do you have any advice for sewing through lots of layers without jamming your machine? I'm off to check out your other videos. Thanks again for making this one :)
Lovely fit and so professional looking. I’m planning to make a pair and use a zipper fly per TomKatStitchery did a tutorial on modifying a button fly. Great job.
Hi! Thx for the great video. You mentioned the pattern was not very clear while making the button fly and you made a small mistake. Can you elaborate on that?
Did you know that staples can print with architecture sized paper?! It's not actually called that but they will know what you mean if you call and ask. It costs about $20 but SO worth it not to have to cut and tape xx
The fabric I used was hemp organic cotton canvas 270 gsm / 8 oz/yard2. So it wasn’t super heavy, the pattern probably works better for a heavier fabric like 10oz maybe. As for tips, using a denim sewing needle and a heavy duty machine helps a lot! And for certain areas where there are a lot of fabric layers (like the belt loops) sometimes I had to hand crank the wheel a few times.
not sure if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new movies on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my girlfriend recently xD
I was thinking the same thing - print on large paper. Or look for print shop that does engineering blueprints; they can print AO sewing patterns. That is what I do, and my local shop only charges $3 per page. Most patterns are just 2 pages, and I can pick up same day most times. Reasonable I think rather than piecing together all those smaller sheets.

Hi Emily! Lovely job on the pants! Sidenote: where is your chunky sweater from? I love it!
awesome videos! Keep it going. Question where did you order your labels from ?
Your pants came out beautiful. Thanks for sharing how you adjustments. Also, what kind of serger do you have. Nice job!
Thank you very much! I have a Babylock serger. Well worth the investment in my opinion!
Great video! I would love to see more like this for other patterns you've followed :)
Do you have to add seam allowance? Or is it included in the pattern?
Lovely fit and so professional looking. I’m planning to make a pair and use a zipper fly per TomKatStitchery did a tutorial on modifying a button fly. Great job.
Great job ... Super impressed .. 🇺🇸🧵
Thank you!

Lovely! I hope your Mom is okay...she’s not sewing anymore? 🤗
Oh yes haha she's fine! She just didn't use it much so she gave it to me.
Great job!☺🇨🇦
Thank you! :)
How many oz. is this canvas fabric? do you have tips for sewing with canvas fabric?
hana

I have the same serger but i don't know how to thread it.
I sew on the dining room table of our small house. I sew so frequently that I do not even put my machines away. Sigh.
Yeah, me too! It bothers me when they're out cluttering up our space, but storing them and dragging them out again every other day is worse haha.
not sure if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new movies on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my girlfriend recently xD
@Joaquin Luka Yup, I've been watching on InstaFlixxer for years myself :)
If you're already printing at staples, you can get them printed on one big piece.. more $$ though :P This is an awesome video, thanks so much!!!

Pants look very professional and fit nice.
Your arms are pure gold
How long did it take you in 'real' time, total?
It's hard to say because I was also filming which adds some time but I'd give this project around 6-8 hours!
Lovely....I will make mine and blame it on you :)
Hahah please do :)
Can you explain the mistake you made? Cutting the wrong thing? I think I know what part you’re talking about and I don’t want to replicate it!
Can you point me to when that happens in the video? Sorry I can’t remember 😂
You aid your cost was close to 100. Can you break that down? I guess I am surprised 2 yards of fabric and a pattern would be so much.
aaaaaa
