2013 Ford Fusion Fix For Power Driver Seat Not Working

I found this reason why my driver side seat wasn’t working. The lumbar wire was disconnected. Reconnected the wire, replaced the fuse, and it works. It’s been six months without issue.

Interested in looking into this. My 2010 fusion power seat works in every single direction except up or down. My 80 yr old mother drove my car last and put the seat as high as it can go, and I can't get it to go back down. Any suggestions? Driving with my top 1/3 of my head out the sunroof is getting old. 🤣

Daniel, I have the same issue and wanted to see how do you unzip the seat pocket, is it from the bottom or do you reach up inside to access the zipper, Thanks for this info...
I was able to get one side un-zipped and found the same wire was broken, put them back in and taped it up and did a continuity test on the fuse and it was blown, replaced and is working great.

Todd how did you reconnect the wires? I have the same issue, but it looks like the wires are broken inside the clip (inside the metal connectors inside the clip). Also, having a hard time finding the fuse. Thanks for any help!

My 2013 hybrid same issue. I spent 10 min trying to unzip the zipper. Will try when cooler weather returns. Is it a bugger to unzip for others too?

Right! Same issue here on my 2016. I can’t get the zipper down for the life of me.

There is a hole at the bottom of the zipper …stick a pair of needle nose pliers through and use it as leverage to pull the zipper up

@@ezequielchavez5730 yes it was the black box underneath the seat and the switch to move the seat was bad.

Hey Daniel, it appears that I have this exact problem with my 2014 fusion. My problem is, how did you successfully reconnect the wires to the clip? Mine is jammed full of the old wires and I can't understand how to get the new wires connected. Can u help?

I don’t fully remember how I reconnected the wire to the clip. I believe the clip opens some how. I don’t think I got all the old wire out either.
