Great video; thanks. I'm glad to see that someone has finally done a comprehensive tutorial on the rigid body constraints.
Since the hinge constraint allows full rotation it's also a good choice for putting a wheel on an axle or a gear on an axle. Make the gears rigid bodies and then they can drive each other. See also this channel for some great gear tutorials and connecting them using the hing constraint: th-cam.com/video/DqBOva04lcE/w-d-xo.html

i wonder if there is one, that i could move the anchor, passive body and it bounces as if its connected with a real rope, because if i move the anchor, the position of the active body, doesnt change actually.

Hey could you make a tutorial explaing how to use this with hoop earrings or just with any earrings in general?

Oh my god the last tip saved me so much. I was just in the process of mentally preparing myself to connect an entire wall of objects separatly with constraints thank you so much!

Cool, was wondering about those constraints and also the connect all :o Thx

Sorry but you are skipping FAR too many steps, for beginners.

Very informative, I like how you show what each setting does, straight to the point!
I don't undertand how piston is exaactly like a piston, and can't either think of a use case for piston or for motor.

Really good overview of the rigid body constraint types. Thanks!
Also, your current tutorial style is super clear (easy to follow) and audio is very good.
(It was easy to preview this at 2X speed, so I think these tutorials have just enough room for different people to slow them down, or speed them up. Almost too good to be true.) =)

Are rigid body constraints ONLY for physics modeling? Like do they still work in "regular" free-form physics-less animation? Or is this a non-sensical question?

I didn't fully under stand at first, but you care about the people watching, so, in case if someone didn't know, you made a blend file to help others understand. Your great!

These videos are really fantastic - thank you mate! Working on some complex destruction projects at the moment and these videos are great resources. FYI you can also apply your dynamics window settings to all selected objects by holding ALT when clicking on check boxes - or pressing ALT and ENTER when entering integers. Looking forward to more videos!
