My biggest complaint about my 2017 was how easily it puts you into a tank slapper. I'm sure if I had my suspension professionally tuned to my weight it wouldn't be as much of an issue, but here in cali we have shit roads so if you plan on going fast at all, you definitely need a steering stabilizer. I had it happen to me twice before I put on my GPR and both times were on fairly smooth roads (for cali standards).
Bro! I dare anyone to say anything negative about this iconic machine. The only bike I'm aware of that appreciates in value. It's definitely the GTR of the bike world lol. Love the daily uploads too! Great video man and remember.... you're spicy riding that you can't post on YT is always done in Mexico 😉😶
I dig it. I think its kinda funny how you drop a ton of hints about what you can't show on TH-cam.. HMMM I WONDER WHAT THAT MEANS ???? if I were you I wouldn't do a full system exhaust or it will be LOUD and loud can get annoying.. for other people but also for you.. but of course your call. I know at your age, the loud isn't quite as annoying but trust me, people outgrow the "tolerance" for loud fairly quickly... I mean I LOVE hotrod stuff / engines etc and even loud music.. and if I am in the mood, I like hearing a loud bike go by but if I'm not in the mood for it.. I'm like man can you please cool it ?? so if I can get annoyed sometimes.. you know a lot of people can really get annoyed. so it s a trade off-- because when its louder, its gonna sound a LOT more like you are ballin out even when you aren't. Keep that in mind. Just a thought.
I'm not hating at all because in fact I ride a R3 looking to move to a R6, but why is Yamaha so late for little upgrades? The R3 has a better dash display than this but the R6 has better blinkers than the R3. The R3 has blinkers that look like they are from 1996 and the R6 dash is really old now.
you can definitely ride it man, if you can’t tip toe both your feet or flat foot them , just find that balance of having one foot down and one foot up. kinda like when you need to stop on a hill and your foot is on the rear brake ? similar instance. i’ve seen people a few inches shorter ride taller bikes and tip toe ONE foot, it’s honestly about finding that skill to balance yk
@@mrwolf2120 you can lower the bike or get a shaved seat. i’d recommend finding a bike for your skill level to advance on and getting a shaved seat if necessary. lowering your bike will affect the handling of it and quite frankly isn’t worth the work and risk of it. but you can have your bike tuned to your weight and height so it performs well with you, all suspensions on one specific bike will be the same but all the riders are different. so i think it’s cool how you can get it adjusted for you to handle properly.
@@mrwolf2120 also i apologize for responding so late i just seen the reply 😂 but ( obviously youtube ) the right people on youtube to watch can be so helpful with learning how to ride, gives nice info/specs on bikes, even the history of them which is always cool to learn. doing research, finding accurate sources is very important when learning to ride. there’s a lot of false info out there. but find some pros who have been riding for more than like 5 years ( honestly i listen to but don’t take much advice from people riding less than 3 years ) get their tips and tricks and what they’ve learned throughout their riding career. what affects what and what doesn’t really matter.
@@jamiekn6926 yeah i'm thinking now of starting on a small bike Kawasaki ninja 500 SE. i did a test ride on the Kawasaki Z650 where i was able to put both feet on the ground. and so i did my research the ninja 500 is even lower then the Z650 so i should be good.

I'm just gonna point out the elephant in the room... your profile picture is a brand new zx6r, not a yamaha r6
@@TheJoker-gg8hc I'm not dmvamg bro
I'm happy that you are happy with the r6. Your enthusiasm is life affirming. When do you update the profile pic with the blue
Thank you! I appreciate you watching! You’re right, I just updated to a new profile pic

@@jamiekn6926 Alright thats good to know. i also learned that you can lower a bike as well though it might mess with the performance?
