I played most of the leads and all the solos from Children Of Bodom's 1999 album Hatebreeder. I used my Jackson Stars RR-J2SP through a Korg PX4 direct into the PC. Enjoy!
The day Alexi passed i remembered this chanel and this amazing player! I used to spend countless of hours watching your covers again and again with this legendary guitar like 10 or so years ago! I hope you are doing great man!!!
@@MitchD21 What happened to Alexi, oh man that hit me hard 😭 I met him just by chance somewhere near the Nosturi where COB had a gig that night. I'm half Venezuelan, half Finnish and I was visiting Helsinki (my mom's hometown). I had a meeting with my friend at Nosturi and when I left, Alexi just appeared alone around the corner carrying his guitar case.. I just said 'hi Alexi, so COB have a gig tonight, right?'. Apparently, this was a good opening for the conversation we had. He was so nice to me, so polite, humble, a guy down to earth. We talked like 20 minutes (even though he was in a hurry). He gave me 3 signed tour t-shirts and a few picks and I didn't even ask him to give me anything! This is how generous he was to his fans. I almost hoped that he'd given me that super cool pink-black ESP guitar lol. Now I'm living in Spain but visited Finland for Christmas. On Christmas Day I visited his grave, it was kind of a pilgrimage... It was emotionally hard, but when I laid the flowers I brought with me on the grave, it was a beautiful moment in a way. He left way too soon, a talented musician like he was, he would have had a lot to give to the metal music scene. Sorry for the long post, just needed to left some steam out ya know. @EvilKatarn Nah, I didn't have the JE-1000 at this point, I think it was still the JE-1200. I do love that wah type sound the 1000 has, best tone! And thanks! :)

@AggroAuenlandRecords It's called civitype. Type it into google and you can download it. then just copy and paste the file into your windows fonts folder.
You have nice attack in your picking and are dead on tight, and very articulate, no sloppienes around your playing....But the thing that impressed me the most was that you actually could sit down and play a RR! =)
Are you using the JE-1000 in here too? I have an EMG ALX with the ABQ boost/frequency thingy, and it's quite decent, but not as amazing as the JE-1000. The last one has more of a cool wah-wah effect to it. Oh, and... Awesome playing, man.

@EliteWoWDotCom Do you mean the scale run? It's just legato all the way down, I don't pick at all, I pick the first note at the 17th fret and then just do hammer ons onto the other strings to sound the notes.

You disgust me!! This is so incredible, good job! I noticed you took a few creative liberties, but one arpeggio you play has two actual errors around 3:20 in your video. If you listen to Bed of Razors at 2:32 in the actual song, the guitar stays high, it doesn't go back down. (lol sorry for lack of actual musical terminology). And within that set of arpeggios, in the lower chord, you're playing a wrong note that you repeat with each sweep. Aside from that, I was mesmerized for the whole thing.
