In this video I rank every single keyblade in kingdom hearts 2 from worst to best.
This includes a mix between stats, ability and design, so not because a keyblade has the strongest attack ever it'll get the 1st spot in the list.

Fenrir was always my favorite. Its ability "negative combo" if used properly makes you a freakin monster
Really? I think it looks cool and the ATK points are cool, but I never got into those crazy playstyles

@NixisXD its simple. Just deequipt all of the combo/air combo plus and youll practically kill all heartless and nobodies in one finisher attack

@@lilliefan1305 was about to comment that. fenrir is GODLIKE for keeping revenge low if u struggle with stuff like that.
and if u can keep it low you can basically burn a boss down before they even get salty. plus kh2 sephy is WAY easier than kh1 sephy.
i always grab fenrir asap to help me out with data battles.

not like every pro kh2 player says : if u struggle anywhere. use pumpkin. the combo into crit/finishers are amazing.
but if u wanna do the opposite with combo use fenrir. you still slap for medium dps. but avoid the revenge/rage modes of a boss.
and sweet memories is amazing to level master/yellow one. at the gamblers.
Hidden dragon’s early MP Rage is useful for the battle of 1000 heartless while using limit form.
Limit recovers hp on hit, allow an enemy to strike sora once, mp gets restored, then pop off a limit attack.
Hi sir! I am using decisive pumpkin on "no drive" form since I got it. Can you recommend the best keyblade to wield while on final form? I have read a lot of suggestions in forums, however would like to conclude somewhere when it comes to final form. Thanks

@@Scout_from_deep_rock_galacticsadly as a magic user that is my fave keyblade from kh2 but seems like no one likes it. the no exp ability doesnt really matter as when you get it you are already level 99 or level 1 critical mode anyways. (I use it on final form with ultima weapon as my main)
Personally fenrir should be higher because you could "stun lock" bosses
Also element boost keyblades are really good when you pair them with a drive form (with the exception of valor and limit) especially final form fire or final form thunder
The fenrir strat is for babies for all bosses but data saix
If focusing on melee only, use decisive pumpkin over ultima

Originally my favorite was ultima weapon but when I started playing the final mix instead of the og ps2 version oathkeeper became my favorite because of the form boost ability it really helps out when you’re playing on critical mode my favorite drive form is limit but in any other difficulty final is my favorite
Oathkeeper is a great keyblade, the design is cool and the ability is one of the best.
But I honestly enjoy playing as normal Sora, so I guess I don't use it's power at maximum capacity.
Ultima Weapon is still the best for me until this day

@ when it comes to the limit form I would tend to use it as a last resort that why I keep that specific form on auto show when at critical health. Ars arcanum and the strike raid are the two best limits because of the huge amount of damage they do. Especially strike raid. It cuts through boss hop like a hot knife through butter. It takes a while to get used to having dodge roll instead of using the dash ability from wisdom form. Strike raid might be a cheese move but I don’t care if it’s in the game you should be able to use it. It took me almost a whole playthrough to finally get it down pack. Now the ars arcanum attack is basically exactly the same in every KH game just a different name and a couple extra or less hits in the combo. The best part about limit form is the fact that you’re really only meant to use it on the ground since they are basically all ground based attacks but limits and also only be used from the ground just like summons and the limits between other characters. The trick to using the form is quick select magic and being sure you have it properly lined up. Holding down that bumper or trigger will keep it in that secondary window however you can’t do anything but use those abilities or magics. You have to figure out exactly what magic corresponds to the limit and organize your menus. I hope this was at least a little helpful and genuinely hope you can get used to using it and will be able to enjoy the drive form.👍🏻 Edit: I was wrong about the strike raid I was meaning to say sonic rave.

i think DP is still the best keyblade in the game, since combo boost is just so powerful, especially since you'll mostly be using ground combos in late/post game (this also applies to hero's crest for early game, or against fights with a lot of air-time, like xigbar).
MP hastega on ultima isn't really that useful in the grand scheme of things, since you have so many ways of restoring MP, like ethers/elixirs, stitch, drive forms, MP rage - when you have all your other MP haste abilities equipped (from full bloom+s, wisdom form lvl 6 and the free one from playing on crit), equipping the ultima only saves 4 seconds. Certainly meaningful, but not as useful as the extra damage from combo boost
Combo boost doesn’t add that much power if your combos are on the shorter side/not long. I compared the damage output of decisive pumpkin to oblivion, and the difference was negligible.
@@obvioushieidude7668 i'm afraid you're wrong on this one. Combo boost increases damage by a factor (1 + 0.1n), so a combo WITHOUT combo plus will do 30% more damage on the first finisher, and if you have finishing plus, will do 40% more on the second finisher. This multiplier is also applied after the damage floor, meaning it works on level 1 as well
@@Mystika Have you ever actually tested this out for yourself? I have. I literally got screenshots. The difference is negligible. The only exception is the Lingering Will boss fight since the more subsequent hits you land on him, the more damage you deal. And with combo boost, longer ground combos = more powerful finisher. It’s probably also a great choice for a level 1 run (which I don’t care about personally). But other than that Decisive Pumpkin doesn’t make a huge difference.

Decisive pumpkin looks cool I only used oblivion in kh1 and 2 tho lol

But if you're looking forward to enjoy the game, I'd say Decisive Pumpkin.
Oathkeeper allows you to stay there longer, But I prefer getting the job done quicker

Yeah, Final Mix version added Organization XIII Data boss fights. Where you can fight all the members at full strength
