This is a cheap but dont let that fool you this is strong and a reliable servo also waterproof I’ve submerged it nearly every time in my traxxas trx4 and still going strong.

Now this transmitter is a little bit more but still cheap for what it can do it stores 20 cars it can have 4 wheel steer for crawlers it has fast response light up lcd easy to use menu and if that doesn’t sell this radio it even has giro to help keep your car in a strait line and it works fab very recommended

Pro tip: soak the tires in a bag with wd40 over night and the tires will soak the wd40 and the tires will get softer!

I've heard about that mod, but with a different method. Others say just to use a paitbrush to apply a coat of WD40 and let them dry and that's it. Dunno though... I haven't done that cuz I'm afraid the tires would rot later lol

They do get softer if you boil them, kinda like a mouthpiece for sports.
I made a little course out of a box, added some foam for the rocks and used some of the packing material to simulate some slippery log bits. With just softening the tires, it climbs past 45 degrees but bounces a lot due to the suspension. I noticed that all it needed to get up the steeper bits was some weight in the front, so I zip tied some small wrenches to the bumper and it gets up much easier now. Just going down you have to power it out or she tumbles. Also added a bit of foam in the battery compartment to keep it from rattling and flying out when it tumbles. The mods for this thing are insane and a steel bumper alone will help a ton if you're looking to stay somewhat stock. Can't beat it for $40!

Good video, appreciate the honesty. Been running 1/10 scale short course and bashers, recently ordered 4 c24-1's for me, the kids and an extra. Figured they'd be fun....upgrading and running indoors during the snowy months.

I have bought one and am waiting for delviery from China. it will be my third RC behing a Xinlehong 9125 truck and i got gifted an original 1/10 Losi Night Crawler that the owner spent....$1000 on.....most insane crawler ever HOWEVER i grew up and learnt to drive this model hilix so i know it wil be my favourite......thanks mate from Darwin Australia

I've just ordered one and a few upgrades can't wait for it to arrive. You can straighten the steering link to stop bump steer and wd40 over night on tyres makes them softer

@@rcclan nothing yet, only had them a couple of weeks. Letting the kids have a bit of fun with them. Hope to run them out on sand dunes tomorrow and post up a vid. See video below of my 6yr old daughter having a run out on little course she made, she did all the driving 👍

Again, great videos 👍, helped my research a lot. Took delivery of two C24s. Very impressive detailing possibilities.They're bog standard but its nice to have no reservations about any modifications. One is in paint and detail now. The four C24-1 rtrs should be here in about two weeks....nice to warm up with these test mules.
Not to be a pest, but do you have any experience with the ECX products? We run 2wd 1/10s, two Torments, a Ruckus, an AMP Crush and a Brutus.
Been pretty impressed with them for the price. Very cost effective and affordable parts and upgrades.

New servo and leaf springs spray dw40 on the tires let it set a couple of minutes wipe off it softens up the tires

Just got one and already had to work on the rear end! I had to shim the ring gear because it was slipping off the pinion.

Hey I'm new to these trucks and have a c24. I'm doing the metal upgrades and I'm about to install the metal bumper. My grill and bumper all come off as one piece along with the headlights. Am I missing something? Surely you aren't supposed to cut the old bumper in half?

It depends on what your expectations are mate it a good starter trail truck with thousands of upgrades available I'd say yes it's a good hobby truck with some upgrades

This thing can't even crawl a 10° angle. How the fuck can you have more fun with this 100g plastic car than a 1/10 scale crawler? A crawler is supposed to crawl and not have to gas about everything. Last time you tried to proof that youre honest about this car. Now I feel like you just want ppl to buy that of of your reflinks.
They'll buy it, expect something bad ass, capable to do anything but in reality you have to do shit tons of stuff to those car to be any kind of close to a crawler. And in the end the car will be 200$ or more with all the upgrades.
I like all my WPL MN Cars, but i had never fun with any in stock conditions.
This is a trail truck not a crawler m8 there is a difference buddy 😉 and like I said it needs to be the right ground to and I said on this section I had more fun because ou the scale bud
