@@gulshanbhatia8420 ragi can be given to babies above 6 months anytime of the year . You can sprout and dry roast and grind it to fine powder. Initially introduce as porridge to baby. Slowly you can make ragi idly or ragi dosa for 9 months+ babies Once baby grows as toddler, you can even give ragi mudde with any sambar or curry

With your respect mam ,I want you show this recipe of neerdosa,after making neer dosa stuff dosa with coconut ,jaggery and two pinch of cardamom,the stuffing we have to make little bit sticky,stuff dosa and roll it and hot little in a pan you will like it,If any mistake from me sorry mam 🌹🌹🌹
Mam with your respect ,methe gangi, for one cup methe, one cup raw rice,otherwise for half cup methe half cup raw rice,one coconut milk and jaggery how much sweet we want,salt and cook ,taste of this is very nice and good in winter mam ,mam if you don't like this,sending of recipe,please reply mam,I have many more our mangalore recipe
Nice recipe! 👌🏼 Question to all: She has actually soaked ragi, urad and methi overnight to make the batter next day. And again keep the batter overnight for fermentation. So it is 2 nights in total Am I correct? -and is there any alternative to urad daal?
She has made it the way we(Mangalorians) make normal urad dosa. So what I do is soak the ingredients around 3pm and then grind it at around 9pm or 10 pm(you need to atleast keep it for 3hrs minimum and if you are keeping for short time like this then better soak it in a little warm water). And then when you wake up in the morning the dosa batter gets easily fermented by around 8pm. Typically it takes around 10 to 12 hrs for a batter to get fermented

And if you want without urad dal you can simply follow the hebbar kitchen 's Ragi dosa video. It's what I ve tried and it's instant with just Ragi (1cup), Rava(1cup), Rice flour(1/2 cup), curd(1/2 cup) n salt, you can make it in 15 mins. I wanted to try the authentic fermented ragi dosa recipe hence I checked Shilpa's video.

In kerala we mix little white rice and cooked rice with raggi , gringld it and make dosa immediately
The half onion oil smearing for sure is a Mangalorean thing. That or the coconut fibre (chepp in Tulu)
