istg youtube NEVERR EVER FUCKING EVER promotes quality content like how do u only have less than 150 subs man. well keep up the work bro you'll shoot like a fucking rocket
Hm, I tend to make a stone honeycomb 1x1 with a fish trap at the center on the shore by fishing village as my starter. If short on bait then I use myself by "respawning" and harvesting myself for human flesh. Then I either roam the roads, save up for a diving kit and then farm the ocean or hit the lighthouse (super hard to counter against if you have a crossbow and a nail gun) on wipe day. Recycle everything. Save the raw material either for selling or future main bases. Research components. Save rope, cloth, hqm, metal frags, stone, wood, laptops, basically anything you cannot make or have to buy. Either way, the fish trap steadily catches more bait or salmon (save the salmon to sell at the fishing Village). Store scrap in the t.c. until you have 1500 scrap. Save the exact amount of metal and hqm needed for a tier 3 and sell off any and all extra at bandit camp and use the profit to quicken the pace for tier tree completions. Save the bone fragments from gutted fish for bone arrows, bone knife, bone helmet and armor, bone club and bone knife. All extra can either be used for copies of afro mentioned items or saved for a composter for fertilizer for a garden or to sell either at bandit camp or via a vending machine. A single large planter box can grow 1 of every plantable item in the game. 9 slots = 1 hemp seed(1); 1 blue, red, green, white, and yellow berry seed (5), 1 pumpkin (1); 1 Corn (1); 1 potato (1) = 1(4)+5=9. Windmills, Small Water Catchers and Large Furnaces all take advantage of conditional roofing. This allows you to safely access these things with no exposure to exterior threats. Use the tier 1 at bandit camp and/or outpost for nail gun and crossbow. I keep seeing people spamming fish traps but the most efficient amount of traps needed is 4 or 3 if you plan on using some bear meat in a fishing rod for sharks. Bears typically yield 19-20 meat so that's 4 meat split into stacks of 2 per trap. 4/2(3)or(4)=6 or 8 chances to catch.
How can you tear down walls of a base after you build them? I want to start small, then expand my base making larger rooms, and building up. I play on console, and it gives me the option to destroy walls, but it won't let me. Great video btw sir!
If you’re playing on an official server, unfortunately you can’t demolish your walls after 10 minutes of placing them. Some modded servers have the option to demolish if you use the command /remove. An option could be to hit your walls with 23 spears or other tools on the soft side to break it. Have a good wipe.
You got good advice I personally don’t agree with modded servers but I Could see how that could help a brand new hour play Instead what I would recommend is playing a weekly server for a whole week and try to make friends
You have a good point but I disagree. Modded servers can help beginners progress faster and learn the game at a quicker rate. Official servers in Rust can be tough on new players, and unfortunately, almost everyone you try to befriend will most likely take advantage and backstab you. It's the nature of Rust.
Saying “just have PvP skills and game sense” doesn’t really help when people are beginning. They’ll need to learn the game first and the PvP skills and game sense will come along as they play.
Ah great question, should’ve explained it in the video. After exactly 10 minutes of placing a build, you can no longer demolish it. The only way to break it now is to raid it or hit the soft side of the build with tools.
To add to what Jaxson said, certain community servers will let you use your hammer to freely demolish anything you build or place. My Rust console server is set up this way. Makes building so much nicer

Barn and Dome for starting. Pig quest, treasure quest, dome. Then start your cards 😄
Good point, quests are a good option for getting a start

Press w, hold shift. Win Rust.
If you had more than 5k hours you would know you need to pull down and left too. ;-)
Just have PvP skills and game sense everything you ever need still having problems to aim from 125m with ak can anyone give me a better tip?

Great video, im trying to demolish part of my base with a hammer but its showing greyed out? Do you know why? Thanks

can i play rust with you?
Always
Bro how old is this video. bandit camp?? Lol
That's why I said "sometimes" before I mentioned bandit camp. Bandit camp was never removed, and many official servers still have it.
