You're not wrong Gerry, always good to get a few goodies in the post. I remember getting a lovely beanie and a brand new olight torch over a year ago 😉 The animals are in serious condition Gerry, fair play to ya. How's that field looking now,the one you made silage on in February, and have you fed out the bales?
Absolutely super cattle Gerry. Great presents to get to. When I was younger the silage contractor had a 3650 like you have, I've always thought I'd love to drive one for a day at silage. It's one of my earliest memories. So if you need a hand at silage this year, I'm about!!
Good video as always Gerry 👍 grass looking quite good, how's the grazing ground holding up with the cows and calves 🤔 not much warmth over here 🏴 to encourage growth 😟 nice to see your cattle have done well for you 💪 Amazone spreader looking like a new one 👍
Smashing cattle Gerry. Just don't understand the mindset of waiting for a few pence rise and at the same time letting bulls over 440kg and getting docked on the entire weight. Remember the times they were let off at €1.80/kg less and glad to get gone
Bulls are impressive! 500 kg cold is a great weight for a less than 2 year old bull would love to know what he weighed live 950 , 960 would be my guess.
Gerry when were them cattle put in, and how many days were they on the finishing ration. Cattle look super. Some smashers there. What age do ye roughly buy them great stock. When do ye send them to the factory or do you buy some and kill them and buy more and kill them
Hi Gerry was hoping to buy cattle at the start of winter and have them finished at the end of winter what would you think is best to buy in terms of age and breed
Bulls are in cracking order Gerry. Fair play. Did you use a slightly different shade of green on the new box section on the spreader? Just looks a different shade to the amazone green.
No it’s Amazone green but the rest the spreader is a little faded. It’s 10 years old now. Only to be expected. It’ll dye down and match in after a while
Cracking looking cattle.
Holy Moses Gerry the fertiliser spreader refurb is a credit to you it’s a mighty job 👍👍👍

Great job Gerry
Real credit due, those were top cattle 👌. We get hefty penalties for going over 400kg, so getting 3+ /4 is rare!
The other side then is the 2+.... Just snuck in for the QA
Super Super cattle Gerry, a credit to you 👏 🙌 👍

Absolutely super cattle Gerry. Great presents to get to. When I was younger the silage contractor had a 3650 like you have, I've always thought I'd love to drive one for a day at silage. It's one of my earliest memories. So if you need a hand at silage this year, I'm about!!

Brilliant video Gerrry, how's the eyes?
Seirious cattle fair play. What would be your preference finishing bulls over steers? Also tidy farm credit to you.
Hi Gerry , fair play to Ray, absolutely smashing bulls, do u find that the home breed bulls perform better than bought in ones?
Good video as always Gerry 👍 grass looking quite good, how's the grazing ground holding up with the cows and calves 🤔 not much warmth over here 🏴 to encourage growth 😟 nice to see your cattle have done well for you 💪 Amazone spreader looking like a new one 👍

Hi Gerry great vid how you liking the 215, we have one and think there Brilliant 👍🏻
whats the cost/benefit analysis for bulls over bullocks/heifers?
Great video Gerry. How’s the new John Deere holding up for ya
Cattle are just a Credit to u
Bulls are impressive! 500 kg cold is a great weight for a less than 2 year old bull would love to know what he weighed live 950 , 960 would be my guess.
E grade bull will kill nice bit over 60%
At 63% he would only have to be 800kg
Some cattle !
Is the colour on the new part of the fertiliser spreader a little lighter than the original parts
The old part is a bit faded and dull. It’s the original paint. It’s 10 years old so only to be expected
Gerry when were them cattle put in, and how many days were they on the finishing ration. Cattle look super. Some smashers there. What age do ye roughly buy them great stock. When do ye send them to the factory or do you buy some and kill them and buy more and kill them
Mighty bulls Gerry! Would still love to see your thoughts on a pen of comfort slat mat but absolutely cracker stock!
Hi Gerry was hoping to buy cattle at the start of winter and have them finished at the end of winter what would you think is best to buy in terms of age and breed
Does injection slurry smell as much as free spread slurry? Where i live we dont get injections
It’ll dye down and match in after a while
@@gerry6420 doesn’t look 10 years old! Like a new spreader.
