My redi tile pan has a 3” rise to the underside of the pan and the needed consistency of a type S mortar bed as per the instructions flows away from the install and can’t make proper contact and if you adjust your mix to “Stand” then it’s impossible to press the base into the mud and losses adhesion Worst product I’ve come across in 45 years as a tile setter The best new gear is Kerdi Schluter products or prefab vinyl base stay away from this junk it’s gimmicky and like I said a mud job would be easier
