im pretty sure michi was probably the biggest build that got griefed the least. I think in the original r/place michi wasnt getting destroyed that much and as a gd player i respect the hell out of them. rest in peace michi.
I think the best way to have a build survive is to build something that people will feel bad about messing up. Memorials are probably good ways of doing this
It was really fun to take part in this experience. I was here all along. I'd like to mention some things about the void, just for the soul purpose of giving more context. People didn't like us, and I understand that. So, they got ahead and griefed as many things as possible with void blocks just to get in trouble. And in big trouble we got. Even if this was pretty devastating at the time, it was really fun :) I enjoyed my stay.

As a GD Player seeing a Minecraft player respect someone from another game as their passing is something im glad to see and something you don’t see often
I'm pretty sure that the Madeline from Celeste is the longest lasting build, you can see it from the start of day one to the end of day seven, all that happened to it was Badeline was added and there was a change of background but that's it.
For future reference could you keep the time in the world set? The flashing of the day/night cycle was very distracting, and for those with epilepsy it could be a danger.

I find it funny how accurate the timing of Spamton NEO's head being fit in is to the actual r/Place, being put in the latter half of the event and even near greenlattice.
Man this was an amazing experience! I made the giant michigun/michi memorial and the anime girl (Emilia) at the top right corner with others. I like that people didn't try and greif michi that much. It was still very annoying to protect as I stayed up all night twice. I'm very happy with the final product and im hyped for whats to come!

I'm amazed how long my build actually lasted and how little it was actually griefed throughout the whole experiment. Granted someone messed with it a bit within the final 5 minutes (bruh), at least 95% of it remains intact, which is good. I was constantly juggling between my online school and the livestream for the duration of this experiment, logging on as soon as I saw someone tampering with builds like pac-man, emilia, ukraine flag, my build, etc. Fun experiment but MAN did my exhaustion levels peak that week.
Am I the only one who noticed the Bill Cipher built on day 2 or 3? I’m happy it survived almost the entire thing and was never destroyed. It’s next to the MCDF build in the green zone.

This was such an amazing experiment, too bad I couldnt be apart of it but love watching the analysis. The bottom qr code was a me-qr and a rickroll. i think misterepic clicked something on the me-qr one that brought him to mitrade. or someone changed the qr code to a new one. the qrs both survived at the end as they survived 30% griefing. The top one was WYSI and then ukraine donation.
This was alot of fun to participate in with my fellow PinaCraft smp members defending our logo, its definitely more creative in Minecraft rather than a regular pixelart, cant wait for the next 3d one

This was amazing! I wasn't expecting the experiment while the actual r/place was running, so I didnt stay since the start Luckily, all my builds stayed until the end. Ill list them here -I did the emilia crown :) 8:25 -I, with some other people (srry i dont remember who) built the r/place logos 6:56 at the right, but got destroyed 14:27 the closest look at the final logo, at the left. Also apeared in the final image! (shoutout to Root_a_Toot for helping since the start with preventing sussy griefs!) -I, with 2 members of the HK community who participated in reddit r/place (Pookachu and captainphoton, thank you so much!), built a mini knight, hornet and zote, and a SHAW! that got griefed by... mr narcism himself 10:07 at the right is the best shot. Also appeared in the final canvas -I, by myself, built a really nice, HK related building (THE OG DESIGN IS NOT MINE) which has a bit of lore related to the reddit r/place (ask for the lore :)) 15:07, below "osu" is the best shot. Hey epic, i'm the leader of QR code. The things you scanned were in fact correct! The bottom one was a rickroll and the top one was the WYSI thing (a person pointing at a screen) If it wasn't a rickroll or WYSI, it didn't work. QRs can maintain up to 30% damage. If it wasn't either of those, then someone changed the QR which happened 2 times.
is the 30% damage a fact you heard from the server? cause i was helping the qr code people and started spreading propaganda that said the qr codes only need to be 70% accurate to dehearten the griefers
Coming from the Geometry Dash community, it was increadibly heartwarming to see the rip michi tribute getting made here and lasting for 6 days with next to nothing when it came to griefing. Thank you for making this (:
The first gif from the QR code is an OSU meme called "727 when you see it" Osu is the big pink circle in the og r/place. It was heavily griefed in it but stood it ground very well.
I love to see my failed attempt to build all Scandinavian flags framed above the lego logo, I built 90% alone and I'm really proud I could go that far before giving up after innumerous griefs. You can even see me trying to fix the griefs hahah.

I love what happened with my R/Planetball text (Next to the John Paul thing, it was also the first subreddit bit of text on the experiment) and the Neptune pixel art I made near the blue corner. (Those French people conquered a planet) I just gave up on it after a while. Glad to see it's immortalized in a TheMisterEpic video though :D. From the first 2 days, it fell apart after I gave up.
This was one of the most cool experiments i've ever participated, i was the brazilian leader, we couldn't last until the end but it was a lot of fun. Good job TheMisterEpic, keep up with your good content :)

I love how theres always a small Bill Cipher somewhere on the canvas whenever people do these types of things, its just became a tradition.
4:30 I'm pretty sure that's not "a larger pac-man", assuming you're talking about the large yellow circle on screen. I'm pretty sure that's actually the vault symbol from the Borderlands series. Notice the red triangular shape and border around it that makes it look less like pac-man?
This was such an amazing experiment, too bad I couldnt be apart of it but love watching the analysis. I was happily surprised to see a tribute to Michigun /\/\/\ and am happy to see that it lasted till the very end!

I was one of the people who helped coordinate the Michigun Memorial in the original r/place and I got so excited when I found out that it made it here as well. Hi, q code leader here! The bottom qr code was a me-qr and a rickroll. i think misterepic clicked something on the me-qr one that brought him to mitrade. or someone changed the qr code to a new one. the qrs both survived at the end as they survived 30% griefing. The top one was WYSI and then ukraine donation.

Hey epic, i'm the leader of QR code. The things you scanned were in fact correct!
The bottom one was a rickroll and the top one was the WYSI thing (a person pointing at a screen)
If it wasn't a rickroll or WYSI, it didn't work. QRs can maintain up to 30% damage. If it wasn't either of those, then someone changed the QR which happened 2 times.

Osu is the big pink circle in the og r/place. It was heavily griefed in it but stood it ground very well.
I loved the video, I spent 2 hours of my life writing my name on the center of the map which you can see at 6:56 . The anime girl is also cute!
I love to see my failed attempt to build all Scandinavian flags framed above the lego logo, I built 90% alone and I'm really proud I could go that far before giving up after innumerous griefs. You can even see me trying to fix the griefs hahah.

I love what happened with my R/Planetball text (Next to the John Paul thing, it was also the first subreddit bit of text on the experiment) and the Neptune pixel art I made near the blue corner. (Those French people conquered a planet) I just gave up on it after a while. Glad to see it's immortalized in a TheMisterEpic video though :D. From the first 2 days, it fell apart after I gave up.
