I’m a 53-year old former amateur boxer. Though I hit the gym to lift weights 2-3 times a week, I wanted something to break up the monotony of moving weights. So I bought a heavy bag (due to space, I went with a bag with a base you fill with water) and began throwing hands. And though I worked thru my old school combos I wanted more structure in the workout. That’s how I found your channel. Nate, these workouts leave me wasted. The one minute hard, 30 second moderate rounds keep the workout dynamic and the variety to each round keeps it fresh. To help cut some weight, I also wear a plastic sweatsuit (it worked during my boxing days) and a strap at the ankles to help with my foot work. It’s like the old days, just that my hands are not as fast as they used to be and I need a lot more recovery time. LOL! Thanks for this channel, Nate. Keep up the good work!! 👍🏻👍🏻🥊🥊

Boxing bag hiit cardio is such a great workout . Killer workout and killer results . Lost 68 pounds since March . Well from March to August .. but starting back up trying to lose another 30 pounds . Started at 283 and currently sitting at 215 . But starting back up with bag that’s how I lost so much weight . If you all people are thinking about buying a bag or not .. do it ! Worth the price if you wanna get into shape . Killer hiit workout . Did 20 min of something similar to this workout . Gotta get yas heart rate up .

Just purchased a free standing bag. Completely new to boxing. This is my second boxing workout with Nate. Insane! I love it. Thank you for your content. I’m excited to continue to box with you. I do have to make a few modifications since I don’t have a heavy bag, but nothing major…honestly I think I need to add more sand to the base. I still get a great session in.

I just came across your workouts while looking to punch the heavy bag for the first time. I am 68 and I am looking to get my shape back after too many miles as a commercial driver. Even without the heavy bag I was sweating up the place just 10 minutes in. I think this will even help me strengthen my bruised knee.

I LOVE LOVE these HIIT workouts! As a mom with a toddler it's sometimes hard to get in longer workouts and these 30 min HIITs get the job done and I'm drenched when we are done! Thank you so much for these!!! I don't have a bag here at home so I use my weighted gloves and shadow box, so more shadow boxing HIITs would be awesome!! :-)

I got to heavy bag to using my garage and I looked up on TH-cam some simple moves that I could use and I found your workouts and I’m so happy I did because I will kicking my ass and I freaking love them
This workout was perfect. There are a few things to point out as to why. First, there was no yelling and super loud music allowing for clear and concise instruction. Next, easy to understand and perfect pace. I am stuck in my room w a standing bag, wraps and gloves due to the world wide health crisis situation. My gym closed down weeks ago as well.This is awesome! Thank you for doing it.

Nate, THANKS! You are my savor. Since a I have problem with my knees, your workout is the only one that helps me to stay in a grate shape. Now what I do is workout the first 15 minutes and and then go back to the beginning of the video and estar over for the 30 minutes and so to get a total of 45 minutes workout. Thanks again.
Thanks Nate. I do your hiit workouts four times a week and alternate between the 30 and 20 min workouts. I recently added a two mile 16 min run sometimes before and sometimes after these workouts for extra exhaustion. Killer stuff. You want to look like a boxer? You need to train like one.

About a month ago I committed to 30 minutes a day in the gym and I found these videos. SUCH a great workout and very effective. Combine this with a healthy, clean diet and you will get results. Keep them coming Nate!
Never boxed a day in my life finally started working out literally first time and this is rly fun and gets my heart pumping been doing it for 2 weeks Monday though Friday and I’ve already felt better
Session done,had a little struggle with the combos because am very novice at boxing but it will definitely work you regardless, next time I'll try again and get combo down. But I made it, thanks Nate for being my trainer at home

This is such a great work out! I have worked my way through the 30 min heavy bag HIIT workouts that Nate has posted, and the are all solid and challenging, but this is the one come back to the most. The combos are really useful, so you build your skill level, as well as fitness. No matter what your level of experience, the beauty of how HIIT has been applied to the heavy bag, is that you can always push yourself that bit harder. The 30 min workouts are a proper blast and I would love to see more of this series!

I have a light punching bag that swing a lot so my workouts were usually filled with pauses and I never really got super tired so thank you. Thank you for giving me an exercise I get exhausted off and a workout I stay motivated through. I might not know much about boxing and numbers and all that but you make it funny to get it done

These workouts really build your endurance. When I first started, it was hard for me to keep up, now I almost do them on autopilot

Just discovered you. I’m an older guy, 3 years Chinese Kung Fu. Fighters in school all have strong boxing histories. I’m getting murdered. You’re videos are phenomenal! Gives me the structure I need. I won’t quit. Thanks
