2:05 “Thinking that (strain) is required to get the voice out”. So well said!!!! And, something I have struggled with. I remind myself that it’s not my job to “get” it out…just to “let” it out. Awesome video!
@@NANOG-P8 I think we all start from different places in terms of how much "push" we use. I, naturally, use a lot. I sing and play the piano, so need volume to match the piano. But, I was pushing too much, so I needed to back off. Higher notes do require more pressure...but they also need less air going through the folds. That's a tricky concept, and it's hard to find that balance. I had to "back off" of my pressure. Others might need more. Thanks for the tips adam, honestly I've been singing for 10 years since i was a kid and often struggle with high notes and vocal break. My vocal range is F2 - A5 forced and A2 - D4 Primally, so this tips help me a bit better
I usually just do some light slides through my whole range and then keep adding weight to the slides till I'm starting on a medium belt. I do this for a couple min then sing a could songs that I use as good warm up songs

if i try to ' let ' it out instead of pushing it put i just go into falsetto ( around an E-F4 , i don't if its a lower note )

With breathing.. Is it the diaphragm or the belly? I Use diaphragmatic breathing
I need that steaming can how much is it
you use the diaphragm to belly breathe, and can also use it to control pressure in your lungs as you release air
@@potapotapotapotapotapota Thanks you .
