i have found that keeping tension out of your throat and keeping the larynx low. Geoff Tate of Queensryche is someone i've studied who had an unreal range, especially with him being a baritone but singing in the 5th octave. Peace
Do you notice a change in your voice tone when singing with a stable or low larynx? Because my voice tends to change. When I sing, my larynx automatically rises from F3 to E4, and I have no issues with the tone as it still sounds good. However, I struggle to go higher than E4. Some people suggest that I cannot go higher because I raise my larynx. I attempted to lower my larynx slightly, but it resulted in a significant change in my tone. Have you experienced this before?
Adam or everyone here, please answer! I am really confused about where the larynx is supposed to be when doing falsetto or head voice. Some people say it should be stable or low, but I find it impossible to do falsetto without a high larynx. Every time I switch into falsetto or head voice, my larynx suddenly shoots up.
Well explained, and actually demonstrated, can I ask a small favour, I have a singers, lyrics and backing App for on stage, which I would like your opinion on, I sing and perform, but not a teacher, so your insight would be valuable, keep doing what you are doing.
Hi, Thanks for these courses. I sing since a long time but it's very difficult for me to sing between C and B (medium high). When i'm doing this exercice, it's easy after Eb ,E but before i cannot adduct the vocal chords. Is there something to do? Thanks a lot Ben
What is it called pitch wise if you can sing along with animation songs without audio enhancements that make it sound like a cartoon character and be completely on pitch without straining? For some examples Dreams to Dream from An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, Once Upon a December from Anastasia, Soon from Thumbelina, etc?
You should check these vocals! Haley Reinhart and PostModern Jukebox covering "Creep" by Radiohead. Over 121 million views. She has an amazing beautiful voice.
Please somebody help, I can easily transition from my chest to head voice while practicing the exercises but I can't when I am actually using words and trying to sing I have no idea what I am doing wrong 😢
I need to work on my high notes.
