    Nice to see low quality materials, it's what Im used to. When I do get my hands on good quality materials, I feel spoiled it works so well.

    I watch you now and again, always love your rambling and teachings of the rocks. I usually watch because I love the sound it makes, although it is actually pretty neat how you can shape a stone like that

    Ill stay awake this time and watch all this lol😂😂. You know how i love raw Texas rock lol. Edit: i think the best way to keep flakes out of shoes is to not wear any but i dont know about walking around in debitage barefooted

    I wanna see crud stones on occasion because Edwards crud and river cobble is mostly what I have. Some of them make interesting points with all the splotches and defects. Naturally heat treated surface rock can be good if there's enough thickness to get the fire damage off one side and work the side of the rock that didn't get as hot.

    So was those types made offset for a reason 🤔? Just wondering 🤔 because I've seen offset, curved handles on old broad axe 🪓 handles. Those axe blades/handles were made for chopping excess material off and making a square edge on timbers. Wondering if a blade like that would aid in butchering or cutting. Great video, you seemed calm while there seemed to be drama next door. 😉 👍😀

    • @KnapperJackCrafty
      @KnapperJackCrafty  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      There's always drama next door 😂. And I think the offset blade/ stem were made that way to prevent breakage during manufacture. It still works for a projectile point or knife. I took a long time to make it because it's a different mindset and I had to be conscious of every flake.

      @KnapperJackCrafty great information, I finished watching channel news. Like the beaver 🦫 😎 we have lots of them here in Michigan. Enjoy trout fishing beaver ponds, nice fat brookies,and browns in there. I'm keep you and your dad in my prayers. My wife and I are coping with her mother, who has dementia. We take it one day at a time. Take care. Ralph Snyder 😀💕👍

    Slip on boots: Wellingtons and Cowboy "Roper" boots are great and not too expensive. The ropers are usually nice and wide and comfy. Riding boots are only for public display and eat your feet unless you pay hundreds of moolahs.

    • @KnapperJackCrafty
      @KnapperJackCrafty  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah, the slip-ons and ropers are ok, but I get a better fit when I'm able to adjust the boot using the laces.

      @@KnapperJackCrafty Looks like you have a pair of Ozark work boots. I have a pair and they are really good. Lots of room for my boat paddle feet, and very affordable.
