There are similar industrial shows here in America. The biggest seems to be in Las Vegas. But there are also smaller machinists gatherings and "meet and greets" all over. One is the last weekend in June, here in Southern California: the Bar-Z Summer Bash. Many You Tubers will be there, some you may recognize. Perhaps in the future you may attend one. You certainly will be welcome. Thanks for the video. Jon

Australia looks so beautiful, it would only be a dream for me to visit !
I would love to meet you guys in person !
I haven't seen all your videos but I really enjoyed the ones I've seen and think you are the most talented machinest !
Thank you for your videos
Wow, I’ve seen the future! That robot display was really something to see, like a bunch of steel lime green dinosaurs! Pretty cool to see and I’ll bet the power draw for those massive machines was enormous. Super nice hotel, the breakfast spread made me hungry!!! Thanks so much for the tour!
Good on ya Karen for the narration and presentation - everything is so well paced, explained and framed. Top job!
Good video. It was good to see you Karen on the other side of the camera. Good little video. Interesting stuff. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Jon
I'm thanking you for showing me things I couldn't even dream of. At 81 and my apprenticeship started in the 50s these items are far ahead of my days. My brains couldn't get around the CNC machines. Thank you very much. I'm a Jamaican but am now in England. P S the food looks great 👍
My favorite repair and fabrication channel on TH-cam! I always can’t wait until the next episode! Great job on filming the trade show. Thanks for sharing your craft and expertise with us. You make everything look easy even though they are not. I’m not even a machinist but wish I was!
Hey mate thanks for your support and glad you enjoybthe channel!
@@CuttingEdgeEngineering wish I lived there I would love to see you make parts up close. Maybe give a big hug to your puppy lol. I’ll always be a fan! Thanks
Mattty for the small intricate stuff, CEE for the big stuff :)
Great run-down of the trip to Melbourne and not a mask in sight! Hope Homeless got an extra treat for holding down the fort on his own. For someone who prefers working on their own like Kurtis, a 'Robotic Welding Arm' might be exactly what he needs to give himself some extra time. He's half-way there with the auto-rollers, now you just need something to hold the stick. Expensive no doubt. Cheers!.
Yeah, visits to the toy stores are always nice :)
Karen is not only a great videographer (videographess, videographix, videographin), but also an excellent narrator.
I don't watch any travel channels, but I'd watch yours.
Amazing looking expo, I can imagine kurtis walking around saying.... I'd like one of those, and that, maybe one of those things over there 🤣 I bet you both had a great time there. Karen, your commentary was great, brilliant job.
Much respect to you both.
Thanks for the video of your short vacation glad you enjoyed it Kurtis and Karen take care of yourself and family and Homey 🐕 and be Blessed ❤️❤️👍.
It was great meeting you two at the Expo and I was lucky enough to make it into the video too. Hope you guys are enjoying the warmth back up on the Gold Coast. Thanks Ben
Enjoy the mini vacation friends!
Incredible narration and videography! Melbourne looks beautiful, would love to go there someday.
Hai K & K, nice to sharing this trip with all these technical stuff. But for most I like the craftsmanship the things Kurtis is doing 👍👏👊
Modern technology is amazing but it will never beat the skills or have the eye of a good engineer who can see what needs to be done. Thanks for the video and thanks for all the time and effort you both put into the videos you post.
That was fun and the food at the buffet made me crazy. Can you tell I haven't has dinner yet? Lets do this more often, you make good travel videos.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
@@CuttingEdgeEngineering is that all you can eat buffet? How much does the entrance cost? (we dont have these in my country so concept is strange to me )
8:31 "not really something that we would need because Kurtis is pretty much a welding robot already" LOL
I hope you had a great time at the expo. Thank you for sharing your trip with us!
Looked a really nice trip and well documented in an superb video. Been to a few similar exhibitions and never seem to have enough time, but also get a bit overwhelmed when there is so much to see. That laser welder looked awesome!
Karen, you're such a fun and articulate host. Grateful for this video.
Loved that video guys, especially Karens big cheesy grin at the start. She just knew it was going to be a great trip lol
That lazer welder thingy looked amazing, I’m guessing you had to pull him away from that stand before he bought one 😂😂❤
An excellent video Karen, videography, voice overs and editing, you're the complete package! Kurtis is a lucky lad! Glad you got to meet up with Matty, I wondered if you would at the beginning of the video. Lovely bloke who does stunning work in his home shop in the garden of Eden!
Such a lovely couple!!! Love the video. Wow, Australia is beautiful. Melbourne is very nice. Thanks guys!!! Loved it all! Hope you get two million subscribers soon! 😄👍
Glad you guys got to have a break and do some traveling. That beautiful smile at the beginning said it all and was nice to see.
I was waiting for some Karen out-takes at the end. Great job Karen, thank you for sharing your trip with Kurtis.
You’re a lucky man Kurtis…A beautiful and talented wife, a great dog and a brilliant attitude to your work. I enjoy every episode.
Awesome trip! So many shiny new toys! Haha glad you both had a great time, thank you for taking us all with you. Great job on the step by step narrating Mrs. C.E.E.👍
Hay welcome to Melbourne from madmax 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺😎
Outstanding! Being nothing but a software engineer without a lathe, from watching you guys, Abom, This Old Tony and Jeremy Makes Things (new kid on the block!), I feel like I could attend that convention and really appreciate it! Thanks for sharing!!!
Check out @Inheritance Machining!
@@gmtech26358 Yes, Hes good.
Many thanks guys, for the video - it helped me get through another day here in the UK whilst being temporarily bedridden due to Covid-19! Seeing the exhibits just shows how much engineering has moved on since the days when I started my apprenticeship as a toolmaker in 1959!!
HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER
I'm so happy that you guys had fun in Melbourne.
I hope it was relaxing and that it energized you to make more awesome videos!
This channel should have been at 2 mil subscribers by now :)
