I would love doing what you do for a living, it seems so therapeutic and stress free, (until you get a breakdown or have to spend money in consumables) I could just zone out, and time would pass so quickly 👍
your macines are awesome to watch and I get so relaxed watching them both. amazing to me to see so much more land gained when you do jobs like this and able to clear as much as you do. Another Great Job Daven. Thank you for the filming ,editing and sharing with all here, appreicated. God bless.
I remember the day when you had to cut the trees down with a chainsaw and bush hog the rest, these mulchers and skid steer machines are revolutionary and cut these jobs in half or more! Technology is really amazing my friend! And as I’ve watched your channel I’ve seen you getting better every video Davin! In the time I’ve watched, you have become an expert and help these manufacturers and dealers sale their products and equipment! Good for you brother! You’ve come a long way in the industry! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve watched both the from the cab and now this time lapse views. I actually like the way you have been doing your videos with both views. That way we can watch that machine basically eat the brush , and with time lapse spread around the video we can see the job completed. Thanks for the view into your day. If people don’t like the way you do your videos, they should go watch something else!
You recovered a lot of useable land, amazing how much was consumed by young growth and weeds.just keep doing what you do best.great job, great video as always.be safe.great job by the machines and of course yourself.carry on.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Haha, how can you even begin to quote a job like that?! Man gotta be by the hour, you would never know what you’re gonna encounter beyond your line of sight. As always well done!!
🎉🎉❤ LOVE 💕 YOUR VIDEOS 👍👍👍☝️☝️☝️ I’m handicap now. I used to run equipment my whole life. I’d actually drive down there. I would work a week for you for free just to have fun and that’s no lie.
Good job man. It is a pity that we don't get to see the owner of the lands' projects outcomes. Be good to probably make some follow up videos of previous jobs by revisiting them just to see what the transformation has become to date. Thanx brother.
There’s a song Strange Fruit hanging from the Popular tree by Billie Holiday! Very heart wrenching sad song! Good work as always! You’re definitely the Woods Whisperer when it comes to clearing out trees and brush!
I am always amazed at how much the skid stear takes down. So, I can't remember, is the skid stear on lan to you, did you buy it, was it given as a promo? Anyway, it always does a good job as well as all the other machines you have. Sometimes I can't understand you while the camera is inside the cab wit you due to the machinery, but it doesn't stop me from watching. Screw those 'elitists' who think they shoud be catered to.. It's YOUR youtube, not there's. You just keep up doing great job & making a living at your pace.
Hey, question, after shredding it all to mulch, could I just use the same equipment and mix it in/ under the dirt it’s laying on and throw some grass seed on top? Is it easy like that? Suggestions?
Seems almost like the excavators needs to dig a new path but straighter instead of winding in and out. They could use the tailings to fill in the older section.
I noticed Sam runs his brush cutter flat. I see yours is raised in the front as though the back is doing the cutting. Is there any advantage to either way or just an operator preference ? Be blessed !
Did you upgrade the case from plastic to metal? I did that and the GoPro temperature decreased by 20 degrees because the metal case now acted like a heatsink.
we dont used anymore ditch here, in old times need for permit water come to your garden and used for your three and plants but now with all this rules and closed the old wells people start to make the own well and tank
Hello, I joined your channel a few days ago and I'm enjoying your videos. I would like some help/opinion about these two pieces of equipment. I have a 400,000 m2 plot of land, most of which is in the same condition as the land you cleared. However, the topography is steep and there are points where the degree of inclination is greater, approximately 30 degrees to 50 degrees, with a 60-meter climb. Can these two pieces of equipment work in these conditions of steep terrain? I'm asking because I'm doing some research and I'm starting to watch your videos, and I haven't seen you working on any steep terrain. They're all flat, at least the ones I've seen so far (5). What is your opinion as a user of these pieces of equipment? Can you help me? Thank you.
Apart from being a pain to edit... but I could have watched the ENTIRE 10 hours ! 10 hours Cab view would be cool! but thats just me ! (I just skipped past the timelapse for the REAL sound of hardwork)
I had to clean out my clutter of channels I no longer watched for what ever reasons... more a truck guy but have experience in logging, mechanicing... kind of all over the place... and I am seventy four now. I still want to work, but no longer able. All of that said tho...... My landlord now bought this property from my brother who passed on in nineteen... cancer is no ones friend. I am curious, as I did re-subscribe to your channel. I favor using a mulcher over burning, not in every case as you have to use discretion in what works best in that situation. No my interest in coming back is a honest approach to how this kind of work you just did, you did this with a Kubota and here in alaska, similar ground but thankfully no Virginia creeper or vines like you encountered there. Not saying that they don't exist but not right here in central alaska. Just north of Anchorage to be exact. I don't remember the type of excavator you own and use in your business. I also watch C&C equipment, Clints advice is sound, and for anyone to say he isn't honest, they would have a fight on their hands.. Back in my day(badly overused) I was a drinker and cleaned out many old bars in fights that now wonder how I escaped dying or worse, crippled like I am now. Usually you only die once but being crippled is a everyday, all day and night thing to consider. I am trying to get to the point and keep winding up on story lane... Sorry! What machine do you use and would you recommend it for a long time ownership. Parts and pieces are a thing that can't be avoided when buying a machine. They are new for a few minutes and then used slaps you with all kinds of "I won't pay that much for a used machine". Now I don't think my landlord would even consider selling a machine he buys but transporting it to different properties is a consideration. Think a hotshot style here because of his style of life... they are not poor, nor super rich, a nice income from their business. Clint pushes the John Deere or Cat... DP or Mike is a Hyundai or Case guy as they are in land similar to where I am.... wetlands and swamps, but great ground when you clear and shape it up. Hell, I have a damn book for you to read so will try to leave it at that. Thank you for your time should you reply and of course even reading my short novel... it just never ends
The power in these machines is just incredible. Nothing stands in the way. That looks so much better, Davin
I would love doing what you do for a living, it seems so therapeutic and stress free, (until you get a breakdown or have to spend money in consumables) I could just zone out, and time would pass so quickly 👍
Like any other job, it would grow old after a while and just be work/
It’s a good thing that you have that cab Davin, you don’t have to stop in a rain! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I, for one, enjoy the timelapse and the POV videos.

I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO DAVIN ❤ 😊
I am always amazed and impressed by how much the mini mulcher can take out; trees, thorny bushes, vines, and on and on.
Haha, how can you even begin to quote a job like that?! Man gotta be by the hour, you would never know what you’re gonna encounter beyond your line of sight. As always well done!!
Dude that wasn’t a ditch line, that was a jungle! I think I saw Tarzan and Cheeta hanging out in there! 😮
Love the time lapse! So awesome how you are in your little bubble protected from the elements❣️
Well done. Great video. Thanks.

Young man I love watching you work and thank you for the many angles of camera view❗️👍
These videos are so satisfying!!
Hi Devin & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Devin & Friends Randy
Looks a lot better.
They could time lapse my day and it would still be a still photo.
Yeah Davin. You are really good in cleaning a Lane. Big enough to get a Brush Firetruck in now.
So basically is you made a 'Right of way' that gives that bigger equipment more ease in moving around. Plus helps make a road of travel.
You do real good work😊
Good job Devin.
You always make it interesting Davin. I need some help cleaning out papa’s pond
Love the Timelapse! Keep em coming!
Nice video Davin.

Chomp Chomp!
I wonder if they make a "sun hood" for Go-Pro's. They do get a little toasty out in the direct sunlght.

He bought it from another forestry mulching channel: Upstate Brush Control.
Nice Vid!

Do both cutter heads turn the same RPMs. Between them both.

Team Timelapse Wins!
If you could have only one, skid steer vs mini which one and why?
Vines vines and more vines!

How many hours do you have on the Kubota?
Almost 2700
@@idigit4967 Getting up there. Do you have a bunch of leaks in it? I've heard kubota machines have very few leaks.

Sounds like the probe from the
"SIX MILLION DOLLAR M.A.N." IF YOU KNOW YOUE KNOW...
how much is that machine?
Sorry to much time lapse but i love your videos. have fun!
If you could only afford one of those machines, could a case be made that the excavator is the more versatile tool than the skid steer?
nice now you see it now you don t
