For complex designs, how do you or the client's designer plan for the graphics to align with the features of the vehicle in the final product? Say, curved text or a rounded graphic that will follow a fender line and wrap around the wheel. Thanks!

3m 180c print i been using that for 15 years wraping cars trucks drop panels its not bad but it doesn't stick good in winter

I'm new to this wrap thing. But this yr I'm doing things different. I build pulling tractors of all sizes. How does one get in touch with you to get a vynle wrap made for such play toys. I had someone airbrush my designs but he's getting out of the business. Now I need another way to put some cool graphics on these machines.anything you have to say will be very helpful thank you.

David King what dpi do you generally use to put an image on the side of a car? I guess you use illustrator to create vector imaging which is scaleable with no impact on image sharpness but what about if you want to print a photo for the side of a car what pixel camera or dpi do you recommend?
Yes, I use Illustrator most often, Photoshop is good when photos are included. The dpi depends on a few factors. Generally speaking, 100 to 150 is best. However, it really depends on the complexity of the design. If there are many graphic effects in the design, the file size can grow very large and difficult to work with and to print. In that case, I have reduced the file size by printing as low as 72dpi. If you have good quality images and graphics, 72dpi should look okay.

An experienced installer will not cut all the way through the vinyl to the paint, just enough for the vinyl.
