  • Modified stock headers to full system by removing Muffler Chamber and adding straight pipe with proper alignment with straight link pipe. Expectation was high but BS4 stock exhaust doing great job by not allowing free flow air... but definitely louder than stock sound, happy with the sound and tension free from police fine ;)

    • @Ashhb4u

      Hi buddy, no power commander, nothing power loss it's absolutely normal.. for the kind of ride I do I dont require PC upgrades. In general if anybody going for track race each second is important and bike would be running continuously for 5 to 6 hours which might be getting over heat, so for these kind of rides we need power commander upgrades.

    • @Ashhb4u

      Yes! It is louder than stock, as we have eliminated muffler Chamber so air flow is high... but stock exhaust is double link pipe inside as per BS4.... so after market exhaust will complete the superbike sound dream. Check out latest video same bike got upgraded to Arrow GP exhaust.

      Hi mate, on my experience I didn't find much difference(technically 5-10% high only), but for sure poisons gas gets discharged directly to environment. So I recommend to retain the catalytic converter just remove/eliminate only muffler chamber/big bell box for sound plus for this modifications you don't need fuel remapping or ECU upgrades.

    • @Ashhb4u
      @Ashhb4u  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Buddy, thanks for watching my video. I have chosen good quality of stainless steel mid pipe by eliminating muffler chamber/big belly box and leaving DBkiller inside the header. By doing this modification, no issues on the bike till date with good(no electronic upgrades) and decent sound out put but not that great because stock slip-on exhaust has double barrel bend pipes(to avoid back pressure/popping sound). After this modification, db level should be around 94.5/5000 rpm. Big plus point is no cops catching issue due to loud noise and we can always add after market exhaust for few rides or when required which will take 10mins to fit. Lot of people are happy with this modification.
      Currently am in London(business trip), once am back to Bangalore(April 25th), will see if I can help you by making a video of it as requested.

      Hi Ashish, till date no issues with bike absolutely going smooth (most important depends on the usage and maintenance of bike) i have done timely service and never did any kind of stunts. Most important thing, you need to get this modification from right people who are experts/ has experience previously. No power drop otherside bike will be lose weight of 2 to 3kg.
      All good till date but police definitely has objections on loud exhaust sound (these days everyone has mobile easily they will come to know the difference between stock and aftermarket exhaust), i stay in Bangalore traffic police is strict so I avoid main junction or don't rav the bike at all and max if they ask to remove exhaust, anytime i can fit stock exhaust and still can enjoy the moderate sound of the bike :)

      Hey Mate, this is a simple alteration I have removed muffler chamber only and added straight stainless steel pipe keeping catalytic converted. Any time we can still add back muffler chamber similar way by cutting the straight pipe.
      If you are judging by looking the surrounding of the garage might look bad in shape but those are highly skilled people with cheap labour's, it costed only below $190 to make this modification rather spending money on full system which cost $2500 (Huge cost difference). Basically there is no trick or gimic showing in this video, it is purely technical way to modify to make Z to roar. Till now no damage/side effects to engine since am using my motorcycle from past 2 years after this modification. Hope you got the point
