The change is for a very short time. Whatever is ur Salary today will get almost doubled then people who earn 15 lacs will gain 17500 now but when after 8th Pay Commission this 30 lacs will call for 6 lacs tax on back of the envelope calculation. U don’t expect slabs to be changed frequently.
