I love the detail that he calls Leon Mr Scott at 0:49. As it is common to have two surnames in Spain. So Salazar thought Scott and Kennedy are his two last names
Lmaoo there’s absolutely no way the barely ESL-literate people who brought you “ganados” and “Las Plagas” would have any remote grasp of Spanish onomastics, much less the Hispanic reception of Anglophone nominal structure. Even American culture is too alien for them to grasp, with phrases like “Resident Evil”, “Raccoon City” and my favorite, “Leon Scott Kennedy” for an Italian-American character ffs.
Just got done beating RE4 and Salazar is one of my favourite villains. I love the way he talks and acts "We've jacked the line" LMAO - He has such a troll voice and the fact he's tiny makes him really funny
@@unknownuser5260 Yeah I'm really disappointed with salazar new look resident evil 4 original in he looks like Abdu rojik and In remake he is looking like Hasbulla
I hate how in the remake they had Salazar communicate to Leon with the speakers but Leon never talks back. Saddler and salazar needed more back and forth with Leon in 4R
This Salazar is what made the game for me, he's easily the best RE villain in terms of banter and oddly enough badassness for how he shows his confidence and status while remaining goofy and funny with his temper and age. It's a shame they changed that so much in the remake
2:09 "Did you say, old man, Mr. Kennedy? It might come as a surprise, but I'm only 20 years old!" After 18 years ...I need to know , is he still 20 years old At Remake 😅 ?
I love that Salazar is the literal meaning of "Napoleonic/Small dog complex" with Chucky/Freddy Kruger tendencies all rolled up into one cheesy memorable villain (like how Wesker is an op Agent Smith meets Carpenter's "Thing" mimic) but Capcom has some explaining to do with all these deadly octopus-squid creature morphs 🤘 Its good to hear from you & I hope things stay crimson + clover for you. Another awesome boss battle explored!
This version of Ramon is so much better than the remake one and I am very happy to see that I am not the only one who sees it that way. Seriously, the Remake looks amazing. But why? Why did they have to f*ck up Ramon? :((
The one improvement the remake made was expanding on his backstory and motivation through files. Learning that he was basically raised in the cult and that he’s got baggage due to people being shitty towards him because of his disability really adds a lot to his character.
They made the castle actually sort of make sense. Any of these rooms being cut literally doesn't take away from the actual game. Them being gone doesn't make the Remake worse, such as, let's say, them cutting an entire portion of RE3Make.
no "You talk too much?" Honestly, i haven't played the original, but that cutscene was amazing. I was just thinking the same thing, and then proceeds to say it and shoot the guy in the head. But it looks like i still gotta play the original. The events are totally different.
So idc about the looks of the remake, no, I am upset we don't get his little tantrums and that goofy ass running off he does when he does the classic ceiling spikes shit. Fruity little man. I like him.

@@anmolpeter-e7c yeah they cut way too much dialogue in the new one, his conversations on the radio were jokes, same with krauser his much better in the original, overall the remake is amazing though and the gameplay is much better
This Salazar is memorable for sure, but as a silly Kevin McCallister-ass complaining winy man-child villain. A bumbling oaf with little man sylyndrome. I'm sad there isn't much of him in the remake, but I still prefer him to this one. This one is an absolute halloween haunted house goof. Great for a laugh though.

5:42 Hmm. Where’s the satisfying sound of one’s impalement?
Hahaha, that line had me laughing so hard in RE4 VR
There was sooooo much more scenes in this game and it was all brilliant!
So much better acting and design than the remake. They cut way too much out of the castle.
they even cut inferno/dragon statue area where you had to get one of those stone tablet
They cut the sewers, the cage , the dragon lava room, the towers, the statue, part of the mines , bruhhh
