Glamping Andy - lol. That's huge. That reminds me of cadets/scouts as a boy plus a bit of that colonial vibe to it, Ripping yarns! Very Chic! Good video Andy - stay safe fella.
We always rolled up the brailings on our patrol tents in the Scouts, back in the 70’s/80’s. We did it to keep things fresh - 7 or 8 teenagers can generate a hell of a reek!
Your channel, and the fact that you show what its actually like to spend lots of time using what you review, has been a big encouragement in purchasing a bell tent of my own. Thank you! And if your ever in Virginia, we have all sorts of great places to camp.
Bought a cheap bell tent to try out just recently and absolutely loved the amount of room they have inside even thought mine is around 4.2m it serves as a spare room for visitors or just when i feel like camping out the back. mine isn't a canvas one however its a polyester. thought I would try one out before committing to buying the larger far more expensive ones. you'll never feel claustrophobic in these just amazing. For me here in Australia and in summer the extreme humidity and hot weather makes for very early wake up. so ill have to pick up a flysheet to put over the top of the cheap one I have. but eventually ill go for the proper canvas ones later just wanted to get a feel for how easy they are to setup. with the cheap ones youll want a stronger peg for the doorway guy rope found one we had and that made a huge difference to how solid it held up. hope to get into more of this hoping the flysheet cover adds extra protection and cooling for the tent.
A great review and an even better one hour long video on the main channel, tiggy was awesome even if she was a little thief, when it's setup the way you had it you could easily spend months out there, nice one, cheers Andy
looks like a great tent, had a double take today as i am sure i saw you coming out of the wood opposite the screaming woods in Pluckley on frith corner
Love your channel. suggestion regarding drying out large tent..check out how balloonist inflate their balloons..with a large fan..large fan blowing into tent that is partially set up will dry it out ..have an in and out for air..you decide.in a short time tent will be dry..if mold..try diluted spray of vinegar or what manufacturers suggest..fan will do the trick..blessings
Looks excellent. Just received the 4m bushcraft bell tent from that company . Cant wait to use it. Want loads of other bits for it now though 😂. Take care Andy 🏕👍
Looks like the boy scouts type tent or a circus tent 🎪, a great looking tent and I noted the name I have a camping 🏕 trip coming right after Christmas holiday to Canada this is the tent I am using. I have not used my tent yet I just set it up at a local campground and I just love it. I got my tent from a company called cabellas. We will go thru new York, then up to Niagara falls camp there then on to prince Edward Island for 3 🌙 nights I am excited to see the falls again. You are my guide and teacher
Believe it or not since this video went up the tent much like this sold out. Guess i wasnt fast enough to act, but then you actually need much cash for one of these. Thanks, good review.
Great channel andy. Quick question. I have a pomoly dweller max 3. Im going to buy a 5m version or this. Any ideas on how the stove wolud peform in a 5m ? Im in the same cliamte as you 👍🏼
Curious if you have any suggestions for those of us in the USA? Tried to go through all the shopping at Canvas Tent shop but wont deliver to this side of the ocean. And cant find Kokoon Tents anywhere over here.
Excellent review! Straight to the point and very informative. Kent I’m new to canvas tent camping and wondering whether to go with a 3M or bite the bullet and get a 4M tent… I’ll probably be camping with 2-3 people most of the time and I’ve already purchased a stove (G-Stove) is it worth sizing up?…
Personally I’d go with a 4M particularly with a stove-you’ll need plenty of space around it when in operation (don’t forget the carbon monoxide detector) even without a stove the 4M would be more comfortable 👍🏻
@@sarahmills399 Thanks Sarah - at least you replied (lol) I did go with the 4M and I will get a cm detector once I start using my stove (haven't yet) Cheers 🙂
Great video Andy...Im about to buy a 4 meter one like yours...But my stove pipes are 60mm and the hole in the tent is 150mm....Any idea how I can get around the problem please.....
I Am Impressed With This "Bell Canvas Hot Tent" to be honest, and I believe that this tent will be in my shopping list, sooner than later too !
We've just got this very tent. Using it for a weekend camp in the Lake District. Can't wait

I use a Canvas Tent Shop: 10 X 10 Selkirk Spike tent outfitted with a Yukon3 stove myself Andy. Love it, for our long, cold Canadian winters
Good review on the tent nice to see tiggy the dog again 🏕🐕🐄🌧🔥👍🥩
Tiggy is killing it in your videos!
Great video Andy. Thanks and be well.
I used a 4M tent from DANCHEL OUTDOOR with the same brand of wood stove. Makes me like going out more in winter! !
Big and rugged enough to live fulltime in! Great review and love Tiggy.😁

Love your reviews 😁👍
Did you forget to mention the chimney Andy? I seem to remember you having a fitting issue with yours. I thought it a very fair review.
Hey Andy great video as always 🔥🔥🔥 could you do I review on the winnerwell firepit and accessories?
Believe it or not since this video went up the tent much like this sold out. Guess i wasnt fast enough to act, but then you actually need much cash for one of these. Thanks, good review.
Nice review! What are the zips on the tent like? I’ve had cheaper ones rust and break quite easily before if not the YKK zips? Thanks
Sometimes I have to pack wet gear. Mold happens. Can you do a camp maintenance video for us guys that may miss a step? Cheers!
You have to unpack it all when you get home.
A 4m bell tent across your living room isn’t a pretty sight - I’m looking at one now
Great channel andy. Quick question. I have a pomoly dweller max 3. Im going to buy a 5m version or this. Any ideas on how the stove wolud peform in a 5m ? Im in the same cliamte as you 👍🏼
I could probably get away with a 4m but I'd rather the space with the kids and some friends
Good day. What other colors do they come in.Bell tent.

Do you recommend this brand of bell tent.
Things like that dog! lol
does it come with the cows
Do you need to soak the tent completely before you go out and use it?
I can understand WHY bell tents were so popular on military campaigns 'back in the day.'
I'm homeless in Scotland. This would make a good roomy home, I just wish they did them in green or brown.
Some companies make them in different colours, although it is possible to dye them. Hope your situation improves soon.
is that tent something you leave up all year round? ⛺🎪🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌚👍👍👍 great review
Hehe hello tiggy xXx
How to buy in US?
