Subscribed as I look at relocating from Southern California homeownership to Saigon or Da Nang homeownership. I will buy a car and not a moped, so I will need a parking garage or home garage. I love high rise living as mowing the lawn and landscaping is overrated after 30 years of a mortgage and home pay off.
Tony, I think you are right it is best to rent for a while because you never know which directions the Condo for the next few months should you buy now and then market crash happens in the middle of 2021 with this ongoing pandemic plus as you mentioned there are so many new developments going on in the middle of HMC you might get a much better deal, bigger space in a Brand new tower towards the end of next year just concentrate on your ESL School now to get it going first I am sure there are plenty of rentals around you right now to buy times for the best deal to come by. tnx.
Phu My Hung is a Ghost town, I prefer and enjoy the positive vibes and energy of D1. Binh Thanh District and D3 is my go to place to live since its so good and close to D1
Hi, Tony what is the other similar but Brand new High Rises in the same Neighbourhood do you see any new luxury development in that area or very close to it if you found any eye-catching Brand new High rise apartment with the estate of art interior and exterior including all the facilities GYM, SPA, swimming pool, and the latest security system would you please create a Tour Review on it for people in North America who really want to know about your over ten years experience and expertise to buy a 2-3 Bedroom Apartment in HMC. thanks for your informative Videos about ex-pat life in Vietnam it is highly appreciated keep up the good work bro.
I think it's much better to rent for Expats atm.. We have many new apartment projects popping up around Phu My Hung, d7. I'm about to do a series on renting an apartment. Thanks your your support, Benny😁
There is a startup company in Singapore. They would co-invest with you. You put out 20-30%. They finance the rest. You pay the monthly mortgage to them just like a lender. The startup just got big funding from US investors. Let me know if you are interested. I can introduce you to them.
@Bald Broke Monger in Rayong w/ Fake Online Degree I agree with your points. This is why you must do diligence on your part if you choose this route. This is the only option at this time for foreigners to finance the property. I am working to purchase my first condo( below $150k). This way I only risk 20% ($30K) and not more. Buying property in VN is risky regardless.

Happy holidays and hope you and your family a happier New Year🎉😁
I personally like crowded areas. To each his own.
HCMC is a crowded place. Phu My Hung just has a lot more green areas:)
Wow, at 5:50, one side of the pool is see-through!
wish you would have spent more time showing the inside of the apartment. helpful tips on areas though!
I will get better shots in the future😁 They are just tiny unfinished boxes atm.

I heard when you buy a home in VN you only own it for 50 years. The government would take over, or you have to sell it before 50 year mark.
Sell it or give it a family member😁
@@xpattvvietnam9922 good idea !!!
They allow you to renew it. This is normal for a small country. They don't want foreigners(China) to take over their land.
District 7 is Korean town.very expensive but is modern district ,safety,.

If you want to rent an apartment in HCMC, you can contact me.
You mentioned a bank. What bank are you using and how would financing work for an American looking to buy a place in vietnam?
I use a Korean bank and a couple of Vietnamese banks. Financing would be done through the builders, if any. I didn't have any luck with my banks.
@@xpattvvietnam9922 oh darn. I want to buy an apartment in vietnam and ideally would like it finance instead of pay cash
@@newtypetommy much easier if you have a Vietnamese wife😁 if not pay cash like most Vietnamese do😊

Now you can finance that place with 20-30% down.
Can you get financing for this as an expat?
All these youtube guides show fancy houss and apartments. Let's forget renting How about showing modest houses that we can buy for about £50,000?

Can a foreign buy apartment in Vietnam & stay there permanently ? I mean, without a visa run ?
You have to keep your residency(TRC) up to date, but you don't need to buy an apartment to do that.
@@xpattvvietnam9922 What is TRC ? I asked if a foreign can buy home there & live there...
Yes, but when you buy it's a 50 year lease that you can sell and has to be a new build or bought from another foreigner. TRC is your residency card.
@Xpat TV Vietnam Thanks for the fast answer ! nice channel, good info !
I will visit again Vietnam when it open. I consider live there in the future !
Extremely great advice! Builder files BK you are screwed like Trump 2.0 Always buy a finish unit!
