Holy Molly. $450 USD for a fully equipped 2-bedrooms apartment in District 7. That is a very ... very good deal. In addition to that the area is extremely nice, clean, and very convenient to everything. By the way, $90 for the monthly gym is also a good deal. You don't want to know how much I pay for my weekly gym in the US.
$90 for gym per month is ridiculous price tbh. Average gym here costs $15-20 per month. And as I saw in video (6:29) advertisement says 6 months for 2 mln VND (~$85).
Great video as usual Mike mate. Love these type of vids too, just casually strolling around showing your home, getting food and that type of thing. Keep them coming, I could watch them all day. Hope you are well brother... Damon
your area is called "New Saigon" it's all new buildings and very nice for foreigners. The FV Hospital is close by so your set. It's a bit out of the way but that's OK I guess
I'm arriving on Tuesday afternoon and initially residing in D1 but working in D2. I better start brushing up on your videos, as I'm in a hotel for a week.
Cheers Kris. I'll be here for at least 12 months, if not longer. Getting my business visa next week. Great place to be living at the moment, lots of opportunity in HCMC.
@@livinginphuketthailand hi Mike. Do you have to leave Vietnam and return on your business visa? Cheers in advance. Have you been to The Tavern , Hung Gia 3, D 7 yet for a 🍻
Anybody know what the conditions are fors someone to rent something like this? Is a one year long-term tourist visa gonna cut it? I think that's a thing. You just have to go out every three months, right?
i was wondering if your guest room had an air vent or something since there didn't seem to be any windows...or does the the ac maybe circulate fresh air? Thanks
Hi Mike. Do you know any info about Vietnam Visa that need to issue from an embassy. We Sri lankan passports. When we contacted local Vietnam embassy. They said still Viet nam immigration has not given procedure to issue Visa. Still only Evisa eligible country allowed to enter? Do u know any info on this
Thanks, Mike, for lovely Information, indeed your apartment is gorgeous. I am from Birmingham, UK and looking forward to move to Ho Chi Minh City. I really appreciate if you can share some knowledge about income tax in Vietnam. I have been offered a place in university and they are offering me $1200000 but at the same time they told me that I have to 35% tax, which is bit shocking. Please through some light on the tax system of Vietnam. I will be grateful to you. Kind Regards Jazz
Hi Mike! We are moving to Ho Chi Minh in a few months and your video is really useful! As a Portuguese I am worried I wont be able to find a decent home espresso machine out there, I saw you have one in your apartment! Did did you buy it there? If so how much did it cost? Or was it included as part of the furnishings?
Hi Marta, don't worry! You can find high end espresso machines here no problem. The one I bought was only about $70 but you can spend up to $5000 if you really want to. Plenty of places to buy high end good here in Saigon. Good luck with you move!
Hi I’ve been looking into apartments here and was wondering if you could recommend over apartments around here? Or the name of the complex you live in if you feel comfortable. Thank you!
if you are near Phu My Hung will be alot of Korean people as it's Korea Town! used to live there and will be back later this yr.. enjoy! No doubt will bump into you somewhere around there.. lol
Are you frickon' kidding me man??? That's ridiculous man, holy crap am I envious!!!! Apartment Envy!!! haha. Jaw is still dropped!!! That's like $570 CAD/month so not even half of what I pay for my 1 BR apartment here! Why am I still living in Canada???
@@maxwellkernick2858 hi Maxwell. Where to stay really depends on what you are looking for I guess. Disttict 1 is set up for tourists, District 2 is more of an expat enclave, D7 has lots of Korean expats. I would book a few nights in D1 and then keep your options open if you want to relocate after a few days. Good luck and enjoy your stay mate!
