@@pifko87 Yeah no. I am a physics phd student (final year) and saw a video of baseball players diving and running in a long time ago which actually motivated me study of bike throws consdering i am a cylcing fan).
Yes bike throws will help you if the speed of the whole unit (person+bike) is the same for both the bike thrower and the one pedalling through. This help comes in the form of moving the bike forward when you move your body back because of centre of gravity changing. But that isn't the case and as soon as you stop pedalling you start losing speed because of resistance (both caused by air and road). In other words any advantage gained by the throw is quickly eaten away.
Literally above 95% of bike throws have resulted in worse time in my study. Not to mention if there is a slight headwind then a bike throw is even worse.
But i am sure you know more than me. So i will drop it and tell my supervisor pifko87 already knows our work is useless

Vingegaard has been isolated over and over in the mountains.
the big move he made.. it was Jonas alone with Pogacar and here Pogacar had a helper that tried to close Jonas attack and then noticed Pogacar dropped and Jumbo early attacks, that day looked kind of failed at that early point at the final climb.
and again at the AlpedHuez.. Jonas was also alone when Pogacar was on revenge and he even had Majka to help.
and again yesterday.. Jonas all alone with Pogacar had 2 or 3 helpers at the final climb.
so Jonas been alone, pretty much all the final climbs.
Its the early stages where Jumbo have been strong.
but Jonas do look like he is the strongest climber.. just as he did last year TdF, but its the transport stages and the early part of the stages and closing gap and not get stress by teamplay from UAE and other.. its here he needs riders to protect and surround him and its here Roglic had a role to play..

Had Quickstep brought Mark Cavendish along its hard to see how it would have compromised what they have achieved so far in the race, and maybe it would have given another possible option on some of these stages where Jakobsen is not managing to get into the sprint. Since the first few days of the race the team has not been very visible at the sharp end.

All Cavendish cared about for this year was to set the record. If they did not intend to go to TDF with him, they shouldn't have spent one year of his career. He is even stronger than he was last year and would win at least as much as Fabio has done. After the Stage 2, all that Quickstep talked about was what a good team they selected. Now, they are not saying a single word. On the other hand, I am happy that Cav is not here with QS as they would make him the scapegoat of their disastrous performance.

I honestly don’t think that much will change for Jonas. He looks to be by far the strongest ride when it goes up. No one has been able to make a dent in him. The TdF will be decided on Thursday with the Hautacam stage, which is a stage that fits Jonas really really well. How does Pogacar think he can get these 2 minutes and 22 seconds? He has tried on the flat and it didn’t work. He has tried when it went up but Jonas just sat effortlessly in his wheel, and UAE isn’t strong enough to do a “Jumbo Visma” kinda strategy to exhaust Jonas.
    What’s the plan for Pogacar?

Firstly, they were away from the finish. Secondly, it was a flat stage. Thirdly, despite being 2.22 behind, he still is the major GC contender, which means no one except his team (which miss some riders) would work for his break. Considering these three reasons, he wouldn't be able to create a time gap that worths the effot he would have wasted. Sooner or later, Jonas would catch up with the peloton, and so would peloton Pogi's break. Even more, all these effort could have provided advantage for Ineos.
