Looks like it was a house for sale and someone just stole the For Sale sign, the keys and that black thing in the kitchen are what realtors put on the doors for open houses, at least here in Canada.
Tim you are one brave man going into all the high grasses like you do. If it was me I would’ve never stepped into the grass. I have a fear of snakes. I commend you for doing to make the community a better place.
This yard was once lovingly planted and tended by somebody. Too bad it fell into disarray. But you did a marvellous job of bringing some of its beauty back to life! Love your videos!
You unearthed a truly secret garden. This is a beautiful yard that someone once took great pride in, (by looking at the variety and the fact the grass is lush and weed free). The plantings are also a sign of someone picking and choosing what they loved the most. Too bad the place is abandoned. It looks like it needs a good cleaning and painting on the inside. Clean up the flower beds and you have a cozy retreat of quiet beauty. Ahhh......the potential is begging to be exposed further. Good job. Oh yea....that brick archway needs a custom ornate wrought iron gate.
Oh goodness! That garden would have once been someone's pride and joy! Hopefully those plants get to stay and whoever owns or will own that place will get it back into shape.
What a beautiful garden. Yes it’s very English though generally we don’t have hard edging around every bed and tree in a lawn. It’s was clearly a much loved garden and it’s so good that you have given it a helping hand until the next owner takes it on.

@ 6:22 the plant you said is "pretty" is Pride of Madeira (Echium candicans). It is an invasive, drought-tolerant plant that attracts bees. It is a popular ornamental plant in lots of places but is invasive in Australia, New Zealand, and California (US). Has pretty blue flowers and red stamens when blooming.

Nice one! I think the "olive" is a feijoa aka pineapple guava. The plant with the purple flower spikes is a Pride of Madeira and I suspect the one you are looking at early on is a white-flowering version. Pretty! He/she had a little bit of everything in there, love it.

@@dickdungfork8334 My thoughts entirely. Sure he did a good job for the house and the community but I winced when he started talking about transplanting and looking for lawn mowers. I doubt the neighbours would have been so easily convinced here in the UK either.
If someone turned up and asked me to leave, I would. No one is in these places and it’s fixing a potential issue of rats and vermin from being attracted to the area so the neighbours are always happy.
Well I use two different String-Trimmer. One with 26ccm and one with 52ccm. That 52ccm is really a beast but very heavy... Overgrown Grass isn‘t a problem with the big one. 👍🏻
The folks that lived here may not have been indoor decor people but you can tell that, that was once a well cared for yard with some beautiful well established fruit, wonderful to see it brought back to what would have been its former glory
Said it before and I'll say it again! I often wonder who in the world gives thumb's down. I guess it's just trolls. My wife tells me when I get annoyed at someone who cuts me off on the highway or pulls into my parking space at home, or give me a thumb's down, "Don't get upset, just feel sorry for the guy, he's probably in a hurry to get his hemorrhoid prescription filled!" Then I just laugh (most of the time) lol. Apologies to all who have that condition and don't cut people off on the road.
I used to work for a stager and I’m a clean freak in that I’d love a go at the inside! A jewel in the hiding in there, as well. Someone’s pride and joy, once upon a time. Im a Master Gardener, too, but tall grass and critters: nope: leave that to you! 😎
Beautiful job and so much work! As an avid gardener myself I recognize how much it will take the new homeowner to set all of the flowerbeds and landscaping to an acceptable condition. Each person has their own ideas and personal style of landscaping. I would have loved to have seen this yard when it was taken care of.
There were 2 houses not too far away from our house, their front yards were amazingly looked after with different colours of flowers and plants; then few years ago, they were sold. One house's new owner had totally paved the front yard area, I was so sad whenever we drove pass that house; the other house's new owner kept the plants for about a year and then most of them were removed 💔
Tim did you look up the local realtor to see if house on market and history about previous owners. Judging by the mature garden and condition of inside the home they probably lived there along time. Maybe died or to a care facility. I’d would only hope new owners realize what a gem that garden is. The person looking after the property needs a rap across the knuckles for leaving it unlocked!! Did you ever go back to see if it had acquired inhabitants? Would love an update even if over a year!🧐🔎

"Hi, I'm Tim, doing lawncare, etc. etc. I will mow your properties before they get a code violation notice, trim and mow before you sell a property so it shows well, etc etc.". Your humor cracks me up. Did you wife tell you to stop and stand stihl so she could take a thumbnail picture? Those fruit trees should teach young homeowners to plant some now while they are young. They'll have fruit for years and years. I planted 6 red seedless grape plants years ago and still love eating them right off the vine. Plus, no chemicals. You should taste the jelly ! Save about 10 seconds of this video for your next video. So when we watch it we can hear you say "Last week on timthelawnmowerman" then start in with your new video! The biologist who owns the place has let everything grow cause he studies a rare species of swallow. The hungarian polkadotted boopswallow. He is going to be livid now :-) Nice work though.
That house still is in good livable condition. It just needs a good cleaning, a coat of paint and new appliances and BOOM! Showroom ready. But then, of course, I don't know this house and it may have terrible plumbing problems, a leaky roof and no ventilation/heating.
You know, the owners must have experienced something, to have up and left this home....the yards are amazing. At one time, some one really LOVED this place. My prayers to this 👪 family
Mom tended a plain American fence line garden for 45 years. It and the trees disappeared after she sold the house to a cement company owner, who put up cement walls and patios in their place. We never told her what we saw.
Marvelous work, there Tim! It amazes me how good it looks after you mow it. The difference between real grass and real weeds, I reckon. My yard has real weeds. 😂
